| Set in a fictional world with fictional plants, the author has the freedom to make up anything she wants. I hope she touches more on medicinal plants and the like even if we're 50 chapters in and it's focusing on royal matters. |

| This was a really nice chapter to display Shirayuki's skills that she's been honing thus far Zen sort of popped in as per usual, but it didn't feel like he overshadowed her at all It was a nice moment to have them work together and delve a bit into the fantasy herb-lore Most of all though, it was nice to see Shirayuki have a little self-earned victory (even if Zen did help her move stuff a bit) I also liked how they made a point to mention that Zen respected Shirayuki enough to not simply go over her head and automatically make her a court-herbalist. This not only shows that Shirayuki wants to do this the proper way, but it also shows that Zen respects her wishes and has faith in her abilities. |
| Shirayuki clearly got some character development even though Zen is still helping her. However, it got better when she used her heads and being a street smart. |
