Basilisk Live action movie?

This seemed the most appropriate place for this, though if there is a better spot let me know and I'll ask for it to be moved.

I was on the Funimation website and ran across a live action movie called Shinobi: Heart under blade. It has the same plot as Basilisk, and looks decent enough to watch. Has anyone seen this movie, and does it follow the Basilisk storyline, or just use the plot for a new storyline? Was the movie any good?
Is there another word for synonym?

I saw it. It was alright, if you've seen the anime first then you're bound to be dissapointed, especially as the ending was no where near as touching or emotional. I found it to be just plain weird. The plot was rushed and each character barely got a look in, even the two mains. Oboro was nothing like herself and completely void of her gentle demanor. Regardless of this, beautiful movie when it came to visual aspects. The fight scenes where a little bit cheesy at times, but the backgrounds and scenery added a realistic touch.
