'A Crisis in Mid-Life'

Quite possibly one of my favourite Progressive Rock bands. Fronted by keyboardist/vocalist/songwriter Andy Tillison of Parallel or 90 Degrees fame, The Tangent started as a one-off collab featuring the likes of saxophonist David Jackson of Van Der Graaf Generator fame, The Flower Kings mastermind Roine Stolt and bassist Jonas Reingold, and multi-instrumentalist Guy Manning. They've since released four albums, A Place in the Queue quite possibly being my favourite.

Current line-up:

* Andy Tillison (keyboards, vocals)
* Guy Manning (acoustic instruments, vocals)
* Theo Travis (saxophone, flute, clarinet)
* Jakko Jakszyk (guitars)
* Rikard Sjöblom (keyboards, vocals)
* David Zackrisson (guitars)
* Robert Hansen (bass guitar)
* Magnus Östgren (drums)

We're all awash in a sea of blood, and the least we can do is wave to each other.
