| I suggest that you use: Вишня Trick I know that they translated 『桜Trick』 into Chinese, and they chose "櫻Trick". Normally, when translating into Chinese they will make every effort to use their own Chinese characters, even if that requires a major reinterpretation of the meaning of the title. The fact that they ended up choosing "櫻Trick" tells you that they found no meaning in the title whatsoever. Chinese also has various words that could be translated as "trick". Without giving away any spoilers, I can see no significance in the title whatsoever. If using Roman letters is not acceptable to you, then I suggest Вишня трицк Indeed, "Sakura" is not a person's name in this context. I don't think it is much of a spoiler to indicate that none of the characters are named "Sakura". As you know, "sakura" can mean "cherry tree" or else the flowers on a cherry tree. I chose "Вишня" since it was the most concise Russian near-equivalent. Note also that the Japanese word for "cherry" (the fruit) is 桜んぼ. |
