I decided to translate these messages because they're all from people involved in the production of ARIA, I'd probably only read them and cry by myself if they weren't particularly related to this club.

Anyway, it's hard to translate such emotional and poetic lines into another language, but I think I managed to keep the general idea each person is trying to convey. Getting more people to be able to read these phrases is also a little tribute from me to this great singer and composer.

(There's also a big message from the album producer before the song lyrics pages, but that wall of text isn't very inviting, I might translate it someday though)

---------------------------------

At the last meeting before the airing of ARIA, Kawai-san sang for us Barcarole a capella as a sort of celebration.
I'm not a person to cry in front of others, but
at that time I couldn't help it. "So this is how the voice of a singing angel sounds like"... Is what I honestly thought at the time.
I'm sure that now Kawai-san letting everyone in Heaven hear her wonderful voice.
I want to someday create a work that will not lose to her singing, and when I arrive there, once more hear her angelic voice.
She was certainly a fantastic person. I pray so that she finds happiness over there.

Amano Kozue (Mangaka)

Kawai-san's songs struck your heart with their softness and liveliness.
Thinking about it now, it might be that her own life was reflected in them.
Even now what continues to resound in my memories is Kawai-san's laughter from her happiest moments.

Satou Junichi (Animation Director)

She was a very pure and charming person, sometimes very exciting and sometimes a wee bit mischievous, always with a smile on her face... The time I spent with her was always very heartwarming.
I loved the way she composed her melodies and her lyrics, her gentle yet bold voice...
Those held a very mysterious power. "Himawari" resounds in my heart.
Thank you, Eri-san.

*not sure if this name is correct

Hearing Eri-san's voice makes me feel her sparkling and overflowing emotions rushing straight into my heart.
And once again I think: "Eri-san is a star that continues to shine".
Her songs will still keep on lighting small flames on the hearts of many people.
Thinking that it's possible to meet her anytime with this album is something wonderful.

Kubota Mina (Composer, Pianist)

For me Eri-san is another Athena-senpai herself.
One of the songs woven by her voice, "Lumis Eterne", There's no other recording that's sung with such happy feelings.
Just lice Alice, who loved singing when she was little but wasn't very good at it, I could remind myself how to enjoy singing.
I wonder if my "Lumis Eterne" and the "SUNFLOWER" that she composed for me will someday reach her.
At that time I'd like her to go "ufufu" and smile.

Hirohashi Ryou (Voice Actress)

She'd always talk to me with a gentle and warm smile; she'd help me out in those stressful times during recordings and concerts...
Eri-san.
I'll continue to keep in my heart her beautiful words, the emotions within her songs...
Is it alright for me to keep on singing them?
I wish that someday my voice will ride the wind and reach her ears.

Makino Yui (Singer, Voice Actress)

On the studio, on the dressing room for concerts, the sight of the always smiling Eri-san was amazing.
That clear and soft singing voice that sounded just as if it was her personality itself, even now surfaces in my mind as a warm memory.

Akioka Ou (Musician for Choro Club)

For many years I'd always reintroduce myself to her as if we were meeting for the first time, and every time she would laugh and excuse me.
When we both got involved in ARIA, I thought "I won't do that anymore", but everything ended like this. That this album is to become her last is heart breaking.

Sasako Shigeharu (Musician for Choro Club)

The first time I was captivated by her songs with that magnificent voice was during the production for the soundtrack for ARIA.
And one day, she sent me a message.
"I got to watch one of your chamber music performances by accident", is what she said.
I think it was a very strict performance that looked like a concerto in France, yet she gave me some really nice comments on it.
When she finally expressed her wish to someday sing one of my creations I was so happy I agreed promptly!
I was taking my time to compose it and looking forward to have her sing it, but when suddenly I received the news of her death it all turned into a distant, unfulfilled dream.
Now I believe her voice is finally reaching heaven without any restraints.
It feels like that same voice that touched our hearts has turned into an existence that will never be erased from the memories of the people she loved.

Sawada Jouji (Musician for Choro Club)

Thank you for the splendid singing voice on "Santa Claus no Sora".
Let's meet again somewhere.

I've got something in my eye...

It must be very comforting for her family to know that she was loved and appreciated by so many.
Thank you again, Kawai Eri, and thanks for the translation RandomOugi.
