Do these novels, not the manga, follow on from each other? i want to start reading but i don't really want to read it if they are all just separate kind of stories and don't follow on, if you know what i mean?

The reason i didn't put this thread in the correct section is because that forum has massive 0 posts, so i wouldn't get a reply at all... nobody would even see it...
Does anyone else need a doctor to confirm that someone without a head is dead?

Thread moved.
Please do not post in the wrong board on purpose. If everyone did this because the sub-forum looks dead, Anime and Manga Discussion would be full with anime/manga specific threads. People can see your thread in "recent posts", so they don't need to check the sub-forum directly. Also, people who are currently reading the series, will see threads easier in the sub-board than in the general board.

On-topic:
I've read the first 9 volumes and all of them are separate stories. Sometimes a story is split into two volumes, for example volume 8 is the second half of the story that started in volume 7. But other than that every volume is separate. From what I remember no volume ever mentioned anything that happened in a previous volume. When I skim the list of novels it looks like the other novels are separate stories as well.
