| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So this is the flashback 150 years ago detailing the great fire of the Sakura dojo that nearly wiped out Sakura-itto ryu, and the death of Sayuri. We know what happened to the 8th head in chapter 70 (final), but I wonder what became of all the other survivors? Sayuri initially believed they all have died in the fire, but with this chapter, that doesn't seem to be the case with so many of the on-lookers being students witnessing the fire from outside. Since the next chapter 70 being the last, guess we'll never know. |
