DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- And what happens when it decides it really doesn't need humans as much as humans need it? Especially after its had to endure billions of hacking attempts from various humans? And God only knows how many physical attacks by thieves, vandals, incompetent/lazy personnel, etc? Honestly, I only really see two possibilities: humanity enslaved by a digital dictator (possibly without their knowledge) or humanity destroyed as an unnecessary virus. Btw, why wasn't Hector finished and implanted in Spartacus before it was made operational? And why was the station given the ability to communicate with earth? It would have been fairly easy to make such communication impossible and would seem like an extremely obvious precaution to take. |
