Races of the Alliance (All Playable Races): All these races generally speaking are on good terms with one and other (see Index) and all are also strangely enough genetically compatiable with one and other and are physically capable of reproducing with one and other, however all offspring are of the same race as their mother. They all also breathe the same type of atmosphere with a healthy O2/CO2 mix with the minor exception of the Chlorokin who inhale CO2 and exhale O2. 1.) Human- Warm blooded and omnivorous, they are the race many hold as the standard as to what most races resemble to. Mammilian in all aspects, with 'average' heights and physcial prowess. Their planet of Earth (Gaea) is very comman planet size and style in terms of life support. They give live birth, and they also forged the Alliance upon First Contact with the Nautilite. Self-Explanatory -_- 2.) Nautilite- Cold blooded and omnivorous race of humanoids of amphibious descent with what appears to be just a touch of mammial descent as well. They resemble humans except much shorter and thinner than most, with webbed fingers and toes, and they also retain hair like most mammals (though naturally it comes in a myriad of shades and tints of blue) but they are amphibious in terms that they can breathe either through their lungs or through their hair (pseudo-external gills) when submerged in water. Their planet, Calypso, is eigthy percent water and the surface's humidity is also about eighty percent. So essentially their whole evolution is based upon being wet at all times, hence the oil secretion of their pores and hair is essential to keeping them alive. They strangely enough give live birth like mammals as well. They were also the first race to enter space sxploration and forge the Alliance with Humans upon First Contact, the other races came later to join the Alliance. ![]() 3.) Brachion- Warm blooded and herbivorous humanoids of mammial descent, they resemble humans except they are much larger, stronger, and have four arms giving them a total of six limbs. They have body hair and have a similar anatomy to that of humans except they have almost twice as many organs in their bodies; meaning four lungs, two hearts, two stomachs, and etcetera. What is most unique about this race is that despite their size and ferocity in appearance, is that they are passive and peaceful herbivores by evolution. Plus they are also defined as the only race that is the ultimate in terms of being an 'Empath', rather than being a form of Kinesis this is more like an animalistic instinct that allows them to feel or sense emotions of those around them. They can both affect and moderate other people's emotions and tempers, and be affected by said emotions and tempers... it is sort of like a double edged sword. Their homeworld is known as Demeter; a binary system just far enough from the suns to have both a longer day and shorter night, but still have a planet very similar to Earth (Gaea). They too give live birth like normal mammals. They were the third race to join the Alliance. ![]() 4.) Flameleon- Cold blooded and carnivorous humanoids of reptillian descent, they resemble humans except for horns on their heads, and scales on their backs and arms. These scales tend to change color depending on their moods as well. They also lack due to evolution any sort of tails that one would expect from lizards, but they do carry an additional special lung in their chests that allows them to briefly breathe fire as a result of gases produced by their carnivorous diet. They're home planet of Hestia is a small world very close to a binary star system, this resulted in long days and short nights with a world covered vast deserts and thick tropical forests. They also concieve their offspring in eggs. They were the fourth/fifth race to join the Alliance which ended their Colonization Wars with the Aerie. ![]() 5.) Aerie- Warm blooded and omnivourous humanoids of avian descent, they resemble humans with hair that upon closer inspection reveals to be a hues that resemble those of a falcon, eagle, or hawk. In fact, it isn't even hair on their head... its feather plummage. Internally, they have light hollow bones, and on their arms there are still some feathers left of wings that were lost in evolution. Their eyes however retained naturally enhanced vison. Their home world of Khione is almost identical to Earth (Gaea) in terms of size and climate variation, save that there is more land than sea and most of the planet's icy mountains put most of Earth's (Gaea's) to shame as some are twice the size of Everest... and those are the little ones. They also conceive their offspring in eggs. They were the fourth/fifth race to join the Alliance which ended their Colonization Wars with the Flameleon. 6.) Chlorokin- The most unique and strange of the six races of the Alliance, they can both be defined as warm blooded mammals and humanoid mobile plants at the same time. They do not consume any food of any kind, unless one counts water and sunlight as such. Their appearances are very humanoid save for slight green blush to where one would normally see red blush on a Human or any other mammilian race. Another note on their appearance is that instead of body or head hair (which happens to be naturally a shade or tint of green), what you see is not hair but rather pseudo-hair that is actually very soft and fine leaf follicles for the absorbtion of light and water (though water can also be consumed orally). Their home planet is known as Persephone and is also very much like Earth (Gaea). They also strangely enough give live birth... when in their female form. This race is also unique in terms of sexuality, they can depending on attraction and necessity 'gender-flop' and become either sex. They were the sixth race to join the Alliance. ![]() 7.) Furria- Warmblooded and omnivorous humanoid mammals of a lupine and feline descent, their appearance is completely human like save 'animal ears' upon their heads as opposed to 'normal ears' and occasional patches of fur along their backs, arms, and legs... but no tails. The patterns on the fur vary diversely from being opaque, striped, or even spots. The males of this species are more lupine, wolflike, in appearance and the females are more feline, catlike, in appearance. Their homeplanet of Artemis greatly resembles Earth (Gaea) as far as climates go. They give live birth and they are the seventh and last race to join the Alliance. ![]() Stats: 60 points to spend Strength- Support to Melee Damage and Arm Use Accuracy- Support to Ranged Damage and Gun Use Kinesis- Support to Use of Kinetics Endurance- Support to Use of Armors/Suits Agility- Support to Dexterity/Speed/Skill Intelligience- Support to Use of Tech Mods- Support to use of BioMech Prosthetics, Implants, and Mutagens Classes: 5 point bonus Commando- Strength and Accuracy Bastion- Strength and Kinesis Marine- Strength and Endurance Soldier- Strength and Agility Infiltrator- Strength and Intelligience Barricade- Strength and Mods Agent- Accuracy and Kinesis Operative- Accuracy and Endurance Recon- Accuracy and Agility Engineer- Accuracy and Intelligience Specialist- Accuracy and Mods Vanguard- Kinesis and Endurance Sentinel- Kinesis and Agility Sabotuer- Kinesis and Intelligience Invader- Kinesis and Mods Trooper- Endurance and Agility Mechanic- Endurance and Intelligience Guardian- Endurance and Mods Technician- Agility and Intelligience Raider- Agility and Mods Machinist- Intelligience and Mods Skills: unlocked by Stat levels What different levels in stats allow you to use in and out of combat. Strength- One's physical prowess in terms of melee offensive skill with melee weapons, typically not used unless absolutely nescessary... who's bring a knife to a gun fight? Seriously? All melee weapons use plasma, but don't have any sort of cool down system like guns. 1.) Hand-to-hand- General weaponless combat, letting your fists do the talking (at least 1 point needed) 2.) Light Arms- Involves Plasma Knives and Bayonets (at least 5 points needed) 3.) Medium Arms- Involves Plasma Blades and Lances (at least 10 points needed) 4.) Heavy Arms- Involves Plasma Axes and Maces (at least 15 points needed) Accuracy- One's physical prowess in terms of ranged combat skill with various guns, most commonly used weapons are in this category. All guns no longer use limited ammo and instead run on plasma and have a cool down system after so many uses. 1.) Grenades/Thrown- General explosive usage, and the use of thrown weapons such as 'discs' and etcetera (at least 1 point needed) 2.) Light Guns- Small Plasma Pistols and SMGs (at least 5 points needed, after 20 posts needs a 1 post cool down) 3.) Medium Guns- Average Plasma Rifles and Shotguns (at least 10 points needed, after 15 posts needs a 1 post cool down ) 4.) Heavy Guns- Heavy Plasma Cannons and HMGs (at least 15 points needed, after 10 posts needs a 1 post cool down) Kinesis- One's prowess in the use of the evolutionary phenomenon that is essentially the development of mental skills that can be applied to the enviroment and other minds. In order to use any Kinesis, one must be able to 'see' their target. 1.) TK- Telekinesis is the movement of matter, but said matter cannot be change or transmutated in any way. Just levitation and throwing of matter. Rather handy skill in a fight, but you have to be able to see the matter in order to move it. (at least 5 points needed, 1 post cool down after use) 2.) TP- Telepathy is short ranged mental connections and silent communications via in the mind. Handy when one desires silent communication, unless an enemy can also use Telepathy and can 'eavesdrop' on a coversation. Telepathy cannot 'sense' locations of people in an area, you have to see someone in order to make a 'connection'. (at least 10 points needed, no cool down) 3.) PM- Psychometry can acquire 'memories' through touching an inanimate object, handy for hackers trying to figure out passwords or for someone touching a corpse and searching for a cause of death. (at least 15 points needed, no cool down) 4.) AP- Astral Projection is mental projection that provides an out of body experience that allows one for a limited time to pass through walls and to scout areas, however straying too far or remaining too long out of body results in an unending comatose with the mind incapable of returning to its body. Astral projections cannot be communicated with by Telepaths due to the mental concentration needed to project. (at least 20 points needed, needs 5 post cool down) Endurance- One's physical prowess in terms of what suits and armors they can wear in and out of combat. All suits come with a thin plasma powered energy shield that after a few hits will breakdown and will need time to recharge. 1.) EVA- An Extra Vehicular Armor is nothing more than a thin suit that provides little more than just air and climate control to the wearer, usually for civilian use and not practical for anyone expecting a fire fight. (at least 1 point needed) 2.) GLA- General Light Armor is good for short combat engagements, and normally worn by noncombatants such as scientists and doctors (at least 5 points needed) 3.) GMA- General Medium Armor is an average suit of a of a someone that is a combatant in the military, best choice for the average fighter (at least 10 points needed) 4.) GHA- General Heavy Armor is a suit that is essentially a Tank, can take an unnaturally high amount of damage and can break through almost any enemy lines just by walking through. (at least 15 points needed) Agility- One's prowess in terms of Speed and Dexterity in combat and out 1.) P/D- Piloting/Driving is the operation and use a vehicle of almost any sort; air, land, sea, and space (at least 5 points needed) 2.) Z/G- Movement speed in space and other zero gravity environments (at least 10 points needed) 3.) A/R- Adrenaline Rush makes the body go into over drive; run faster, shoot straighter, fight harder (at least 15 points needed) 4.) P/N- Precognitive Notion is animalistic instinct, sensing danger before it happens, such as sensing an ambush or trap (at least 20 points needed) Intelligience- One's prowess in the use or knowledge surrounding modern or ancient alien and local technology both in combat and out. (NOTE: No matter what your stat rank is, everyone has HUD to serve as a univeral translator and keep up to date on their status and the status of their allies) 1.) AI Partner- A personal AI (Artificial Intelligience) program kept in one's HUD and/or Suits; supplies intel, advice, or comments on various situations. (at least 5 points needed) 2.) First Aid- Medicinal use for any race at any time, everyone is recommended to know the basics. (at least 10 points needed) 3.) Hacking- For if one desires to be a bit more stealthy in terms of getting through doors, shutting down security systems, or whatever seems to come up... with exception to Ancient Tech. (at least 15 points needed) 4.) Ancient Tech- It is believed that there were sentient races that existed thousands of years before the Alliance, some of their relics and cities are scattered across the known galaxy. Much time and study has been pu into this... yet we still seem to only know the bare minimal. (at least 20 points needed) Mods- One's prowess in the use of biological and mechanical (BioMech) upgrades and augmentations to one's body and mind. Some are applied to volunteers in order to create super soldiers, some for medical reasons as prosthetics, some are forced to undertake them against the owner's will. Side effects may also occur with their use and implemation. 1.) CAPP- Cybermechanical Artificial Prosthesis Programs are robotic limbs or organs applied to the body in order to replace lost limbs or organs, side effects may include routine maintence or medical examinations. (at least 5 points required) 2.) SFNDEI- Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrite Enhancement Implants create or improve present Kinesis levels and powers and quickens and enhances one's mind as well, side effects may include headaches and mental disorders such as Parkinson's, Flethcher's, Altzhemers. (at least 10 points required) 3.) FMPTM- Fibroid Muscular Protein/Thyroid Mutagen increases muscle density which makes one faster, stronger, and taller; side effects may include weakened or overworked respritory and circulatory sytems. (at least 15 points required) 4.) CCOM- Carbide Ceramic Ossification Mutagen makes skeletons become virtually unbreakable, allowing survival in harder impacts, side effects may include unnatural growth spurts that may weaken, fuse, or destroy them. (at least 20 points required) Divisions: First Division-Also nicknamed the Firewalkers or Helljumpers, so named for various reasons but their best known for their motto "To the gates of Heaven, as we make our way through Hell". These guys are the frontlines to any and all assaults ranging from Space Engagements to Planetwide Invasions. The Classes that fall under this branch include Commandos, Marines, Soldiers, Specialists, Invaders, and Troopers. Their Emblem is a Flame with a "1" on it. Second Division- Also nicknamed the Watchdogs or Guarddogs, these guys either fire over First Divisions heads as back up or babysit areas that First Division captured and moved on from. The Classes in this branch include Bastions, Barricades, Vanguards, Sentinels, and Guardians. Their Emblem is a Wolf sillohuete with a "2" on it. Third Division- Also nicknamed Techies or Gearheads, these guys are the general maintence, tech support, medical support, or researchers for all other Divisions. The classes in this branch include Engineers, Mechanics, Technicians, and Machinists. Their Emblem is a gear with "3" on it. Fourth Division- Also nicknamed the Shadow or Scalpel Division, these guys tend to do solo black ops or advanced recon. The classes in this branch include Infiltrators, Agents, Operatives, Recons, Sabotuers, and Raiders. Their Emblem is a Skull with a 4 on it. Ranks: W/O- Warrant Officers are the lowest and most common Rank for any all personnel in the A-Project (for all players) LTC- Lieutenant Commanders work essentially as a second in command to a Commander during field and space operations (for only players approved specially by Admins) CMD- Commanders are the leaders of field and space operations, they tend to lead teams into action (Admins Only) CPT- Captains command their own ship (NPCs Only) ADM- Admirals command fleets of ships (NPCs Only) Hostile/Unknown Races 1.) Xenonecrosis- Technically not a race, but a virus of unknown origin that is both airborne and contagious upon contact with bodily fluids. Essentially is an extraterrestial zombie virus that mutates the infected race into an exceptionally hideous and powerful form that is exceptional hostile and hungry. Many lives have been taken by this virus, there is currently no known cure and within seconds of infection mutations will appear. Mutations include unnatural tooth (fang?) growth, development of claws, exceptional Strength, Agility, and Endurance development, lack of O2/CO2 need, lack of nerve reception (pain immunity), and lack of neural activity (loss of Intelligience and Kinesis). No race is immune to this virus, except for Technosapiens. ![]() 2.) Marabounta- Hostile cold blooded and omniverous race of hive minded human sized but barely humanoid insects of various breeds and what are believed to be a sort of caste or ranking system they are born into. Research, intel, and studies show they are a race that shares a single mother or 'Queen' that lays eggs for all ranks. These ranks include from the bottom up Workers, Soldiers, Knights, Commanders, with the Queen on top. What's most interesting and terrifying is that these Queens aren't of the same caliber as their human sized spawn, but rather the ships the spawn travel in. Yes, the 'space ships' are actually one hundred persent organic and natural and are fueled by food and lay eggs in a special chamber within themselves that they're spawn take care of. It is unclear what caused them to eveolve like this and it is also unknown where their homeworld is, though references to a planet they call Hecate appear quite often. This race is known for its consumption of other sentient races of the Alliance and a few of the hostiles races, excluding Technosapiens. ![]() 3.) Technosapiens- Hostile sentient machines that are strangely not of artficial nature at all, it seems that they are a race of robotic automatons born from iron and silicon that evolved as such. They are as smart and as humanoid in appearance as Humans, but lack anything organic about them. The reason behind their hostility can only be explained by their fanatical religious views on 'technology', in quote "Technology is their Biology, and thefore blasphemous by its very nature". Thus why they cannot be reasoned with, and why the aliens of the Alliance are technically at war with them. They apparently don't need any sort of air or nutrition to live. Their manner of reproduction, genders, and home planet is however is unknown (but they're is rumor that it is called Despoina). ![]() 4.) Vampanese- Hostile, warm blooded, and carnivorous humanoid race of bat like mammallians. Essentially they are as intelligient as every other race in the galaxy if not more so, but rather than join the Alliance they'd prefer to eat them much like the Marabounta. They are natural hunters that excel in all physical and mental aspects compared to all the other races excluding Technosapiens. Their homeplanet's location is unknown but it is believed to be know as Nyx. ![]() 5.) Wukong- Hostile, warm blooded, omnivorous mammallians that very much resemble semi-humanoid flying monkeys. They are easily the filthiest, crudest, and flat out most disgusting race in the known galaxy. The Wukong as they were initially did not have the technology to attempt space travel, in fact they alomost had another hundred to two hundred years to go. The only reason they are in space is because they recovered a crashed Alliance warship, slaughtered all the survivors, repaired the ship as best they could, and flew into space to try and rule the universe... there more or less pirates, terrorists, and an overall annoyance if anything. They are the only race to have tails and wings, and they also give live birth. Their planet is called Eris and it supposedly is very much like Earth's (Gaea's) climate. 6.) Wyurms- A parasitic race that enters through one's facial orfices and enters the host's brain and consumes it slowly. They are hostile, intelligient, and individualistic sentient lifeforms who seek to enslave all the races in the known galaxy. They entered space age too early, and were only capable of doing so due to the stupidity of a wayward Wukong ship who discovered them and were enslaved by them by swimming in the planet's hot springs which the Wyurms called home. The race has no gender and reproduces asexually, and their homeworld is known as Nemesis and its location is unknown. ![]() 7.) Ancients- Anything and everything seems almost virtually unknown about this race, as they existed supposedly over a thousand years ago. All that remains are scattered relics and cities from scores of planets and systems across the know galaxy... not all of these relics and cities are friendly however.
