| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- nice episode. firstly, i was amazed the story returned to the buried mushroom from 2/3 episodes ago! it totally felt like they forgot it. it was a great moment seeing it coming back to life and the gang needing to catch it again. it's nice to see that the creators aimed for a relationship development between natsuki and sakura. but the truth is i only realized they got close as friends when natsuki stated it! it sort of felt like the writers are trying to tell me that this is what they want rather than actually do it. btw, i prefer romance much more over friendship and i don't understand natsuki (batanen <3 ). later in the episode's final mission i was positively surprised at how serious the creators can get from time to time when the topic calls for it, and i see they take very seriously the topic of children and child abuse. Peau D'roquefort seems like a nice antagonist, wonder how many episodes she'll maintain. 6/10 |

| Sakura's characterisation felt off this episode, pretty sure she's eaten food from the floor in previous episodes (as you would expect from a hundred year old bum). She also felt too mad almost all the way through. Overall feels less subtle and to me less enjoyable. Episode had nice world building though, introducing the Metropolitan Police and reintroducing old collegues. |
