| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pichi Pichitto Punishment Live Start! For the first time, Karen sings together with the 3 Mermaid Princesses! And I thought it was a happy ending for both Yuuri and Hippo. Sadly, it isn't. Hippo is the guardian of the Mermaid Princesses and he can't be allowed to fall in love with a Water Demon because it's considered a crime in the Mermaid Kingdom after all the horrible things the Water Demons have done to them. Hippo cuts ties with Yuuri and doesn't want to see her again (but in his heart, he doesn't want to let go). He realized he cannot be selfish and that he has a more important duty to fulfill. Yuuri accepts this and leaves. A very sad episode. If only these two can stay together where there will be no more conflict between Mermaids and Water Demons. I doubt it. |
