Not only it escalated quickly, it's already finished. Found it kinda bad overall. Their past wasn't revealed in the end. Guess we have to wait until the extra chapter.

I thought we would see more, like their past as Arlia said and then I saw "end". What a disappointment, so many new manga are getting axed way too soon.

I'm confused. I thought this would be more interesting. Like, the brother would tease her more. What was with that ending, anyway? It doesn't really end the manga! There are so many loose ends~~~

I had to reread the last few pages to fully understand the ending, but in some ways I'm quite glad it was done the way it was.

The truth behind it all really only comes from two small details:

The flashback she had in an earlier chapter - the boy tells her that his mother shows him a picture of a girl every year or something and it's her. She didn't forget anything when recalling events in the last chapter, she chose to act as though she forgot.

The second detail, which really sums it all up, is when he says "I've thought and thought about the day I met you and what's happened since my mum remarried". The key part here is that his mum remarried.

So when you put these two things together, you can come to the conclusion that they realized that they're actually blood related siblings (probably why he hates his hair color). I had a feeling about it as it was coming near the end, but the forgetting the memory and the remarriage line were so subtle that I didn't really piece it together and confirm it until I read it over again carefully.

It could definitely have been better, but I kind of like how it was done in a way where they don't come out and say it because it fits with the concept of them wanting to pretend they don't know.
