| Great start to the second season, can not wait for the next episode. The art seem a bit different to me from the first season, I am not sure what it is, but something seem off. I will have to go rewatch some of the first season later to see if it was just my mind, ya know. |

| Kind of a slow episode, but that's what's nice about Genshiken...it's "quiet" and yet there's still plenty going on. Art does seem a little different, I agree. But still good. So nice to have the gang back! <3 |

| Um, where's the humor gone? I laughed watching each and every episode of the first season, but this episode was damn slow. I hope the next episode will be better regarding the comedy aspect. Good to see Genshiken back though. |

| I did laugh a bit here and there but was more a serious episode. After all they are going to Comifes! xD. Was a great Start in terms of story and i liked to see Sasahara job saying "no" to Haraguchi. Good to have Genshiken back. |
| It did feel a bit different from the old Genshiken. But that wasn't exactly bad. I liked the episode even though it was indeed a bit slow. Ogiue <3 (it crossed my mind that she and Sasahara could have something going on between them this season... I'm probably wrong though) |

It's a bit more obvious in the manga but, yes, they are dating by this point. Also, I thought it was obvious in the last OVA episode that they were dating due to Ohno's jealousy over all the costumes for Ogiue Tanaka had made. It was a strong episode to start on. It was more plot focused and serious but it was a good character development episode for Sasahara. I like that they have a new soundtrack for season 2 though I'm sad about the ending being changed. The old ending was PERFECT. |

| Good episode. I think I'm really going to enjoy this series focus on Sasahara. He has been my favorite character throughout both prior shows. Art is "meh", and I can't quite understand why I don't like it as compared to the previous installments, but I"ll deal with it. Can't wait for more. |
| This was quite dissapointing. I finished watching the first season yesterday, every ep. was great and a good laugh, but 2nd season seems rather boring. we shall see.. |
| I liked it. It seemed to be a bit on the serious side, in contrast to the last series and ova, but it was enjoyable and my favourite characters had lots of screen time, so that's a big plus. |

| I don't feel as though this is a new season as it's a direct continuation from where the first season left off. Pretty good as usual. |

| This was more of a set-up episode than anything else. I still found it enjoyable though, and I'm looking forward to the following episodes. Haraguchi's still a douche and the MCs are still awesome. |

It doesn't matter for me when episode is slow, without action and with a lot of dialogues. I'd even say: I love this, but it got to be interesting in SOME way. For me doushinji are at best boring, so that's why this episode was rather poor in my opinion. And seriously they could do something ambitious, create their own manga, or artbook or whatever, but no - they decided to make some manga porn. I'd say it's kinda sad. |

| Finally, glad to see Sasahara gets some spotlight from this season. Seems like he was the background character the whole time in season 1 except for the finale. Damn. Definitely nice to see more of Ogiue. Also is it just me or did Kasukabe cut her hair a little? Hmm.. 5/5. |

| Nice Sasahara. Never imagined he could be that reliable. And although the show is not that funny compared to the 1st season, it is still nice to watch. Seems like it will be more plot focus which I will really like. |

Shorter hair and a slightly rounder face perhaps--but I don't think she's the focus of this season. I think the lack of humour in this episode was a side effect of a sustained dose of Haraguchi--he has the power to turn everything to shit. Must continue with marathon now, as the new season has started and I want to catch up before episode 1 gets too stale. |

| Same feeling as always. Still enjoyable. There will be more character development this season, which is good. I wonder if there will be drama and romance. 4.5/5 |

| The beginning is more than positive, starting with the quality of the designs more than decent and better than the previous season. Narration very serious and disinclined to comedy, though I appreciate the same. Storyline that picks up right where they had arrived earlier. Less Saki and more Sasayan, Ohno and Ogi, that's okay. |

| Ogiue seems to be best when she's being lewd in her own head. 100% of her dialogue should just be internal monologues. No wonder everyone hates Haraguchi. Just stop. I am glad that the other artists weren't giving Sasahara a hard time though. I hate having to talk about stuff like that over the phone. That scene gave me secondhand anxiety. Anyway, onto the doujin! It should be neat to see the process and creation of it. I've always enjoyed seeing anime about stuff like that. |

| I seen less funny face expressions in the characters, feels plain, and i like more the design of ogiue for the OVA's than the design of this season |
