For anyone still wondering about this...
If you've only seen the 1973 TV series then this movie is 100% new animation of course, but also is a completely different experience.
As in the majority of the events taking place in this movie are VERY different to the 1973 series.
They both have the same basic story structure but everything else differs, so yeah still worth the watch.
Now if it's a straight-up recap of the Shin Ace wo Nerae TV version then I wouldn't know.
It seems like it is but I hope someone can clarify this for me. |
