| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dat OP song. I definitely like it so far and might not considering skipping. The OST seems catchy so far too for my liking so ya, definitely some nice rhythm to the soundtrack so far. Best introduction ever. Oh silly, Kazuhiko.  Pretty good so far and the main protagonist seems to actually have a way of dealing with basketball when he got past those girls. Impressive. |

| Yes! We get a pro MC right off the bat. XD Was this low budget? I think that CG was worse than Initial D. Speaking of which, that insert song had such an Initial D vibe to it, but since the music person isn't listed, I'll never know... Can't say I like the opening and ending though, they made me cringe. I actually really liked that first episode, aside from the poor play animation. The cast is interesting (bishounen and girls basketball team!), and compared to the manga which I read a couple chapters of, it doesn't have any ecchi, and the MC is cool rather than a mischievous pervert. Dang, if only this had the same budget/ animation quality as Slam Dunk, then it would be such an awesome series. Also, LOLOLOL at Ippo's seiyuu, Kiyasu-san! I could hear it right away since I watched that series just a while ago. Illumi as well for Fujiwara. Hahaha. |
| lmao OP/ED are so ghetto I like three out of the main cast already! Main guy's playing style is awesome. The animation may be choppy and awkward, but the plays were exciting and spectacular. Looking forward to more. |

| The animation in this series is the worst, the unreal movements, the faces, the gestures, the color. Slam Dunk being much older, it is much better worked. |
