| Can't wait for you guys to see it. So far the beginning build up is showing good promise. Animation was fantastic and definitely left me wanting more. |
| Ah~ this is pretty cool, I don't like the OP though. It's also not my favourite art style, but at least it's better than Aku no Hana :P Reminds me of the Claymore art style. Here are some parts i found interesting... There were a lot... The ending with no ED just added to the intensity. This is definitely one of the best animes this season. |
| Do they carry guns? I thought it was swords and grappling hooks. Also We also need to remember that within this world carrying weapons might be mandatory for survival ;) |
| The art style is good and the animation quality is very high. The characters especially Mikasa seem interesting. I had high hopes for this show and so far they seem to be right (unlike Aku no Hana ...) |
| Hot damn. That was pretty fucking great! I honestly wasn't expecting all that much, but wow. The animation is stellar, the setting is interesting, and the atmosphere combined with the music is grim and good. Overall a fantastic first episode. Though i'm kinda afraid the series won't live up to my heightened expectations.. |
| Wow! Another great first episode. The animation was gorgeous and the art is different but definitely suits the feel of the show. It was horrible to watch the kyojin break into the city. Everything from the soundtrack to the way the scenes were directed made it heart-wrenching to watch. Especially the thing with the mom, oh my god. I found the scene where they gave to arm back to the mom and he was crying about how they accomplished nothing a little melodramatic. I understand it was a horrible thing but I found it a little sudden and awkward. It didn't feel like there was enough build up so I wasn't as moved as it should've made me. All in all, I am very excited to see more. I'm really curious to see where they go now, how many people get out alive and all that jazz. Oh, and MAL just set it as 24 episodes; I'm glad to see that it won't be only 12. |

| Impressive animation. Was a good first episode but in my opinion a bit rushed and a bit too grimderp. I'm curious how it will turn out. I heard some strange spoilers and don't know what to think about them yet. T_T I felt the op's music gave some hype for the episode, the animation is awesome for it and i thought them incorporating manga panels into it was a great idea |
