1) Quasi-Zekkai: A technique that creates a unique Kekkai which surrounds the user; it allows the user to either repel an attack or harm an enemy. It appears as a black aura that varies in form depending on the skill of the user. Because it is created by the domination of negative feelings, it is recommended that it should not be used excessively. 2) Shinkai: It is a technique to create a new world and consumes much more power than Zekkai. 3) Musou: A state of mind where the user is not influenced by any force, it increases speed, power, and effectiveness of the Kekkaijutsu. Mastering this requires three steps: accessing the state, maintaining the state, and finally summoning a landlord 4) Sensory Kekkai: While training with his mother, Zero learns to use Sensory Kekkai while in his blank state. This allows him to extend his senses and investigate the surrounding area, gaining a great deal of information in the process, including the location of any nearby enemies. He can only maintain this for an instant, however. 5) Chushinmaru Karasumori Affinity: Okuni reveals to Masamori that Zero is an extremely rare human being that is compatible with Chushinmaru Karasumori, who can share his massive spirit reservoir that has the potential power to destroy the world, with Zero. It has become clear that Zero shares an uncommon affinity with Chushinmaru. The child-like Karasumori is drawn to Zero's brashness and brute power, presumably finding it entertaining. Because of this relationship, and when it suits him, Chushinmaru is capable of funneling his own power into Zero, significantly augmenting his already considerable strength. After their departure from Karasumori Academy, Zero carried Chushinmaru, contained within a round orb in a pouch around his neck. Zero will trained under Tokimori Hazama so that he could eventually seal the young lord's enormous power for good. Hazama himself commented that, when he is in Chushinmaru's presence, Zero is nigh unbeatable.

1) Shakujō: Zero typically carries a Shakujō while on duty. While primarily used to perform Tenketsu, it can also serve as a secondary weapon, a cutting tool, or a means of support when fatigued. However, it is fairly common for him to discard his Shakujō until it is needed. 2) Shikigami Paper: Zero carries several pieces of paper, marked with the Houin, to create Shikigami as needed. 3) Shidou's Feather: Though it appears ordinary, when Zero waves the feather, he can summon and communicate with any nearby crows. 4) Black Orb: Zero formerly carried a black orb that contained the soul of Chushinmaru Karasumori. The orb was kept in a small cloth bag (which bore Chushinmaru's mark) and worn around Zero 's neck at all times, which allowed Chushinmaru to appear outside of the orb and share his power with Zero as needed. Because Chushinmaru's power was so great, the orb tended to crack after some time, and he had to be transferred to a new one about every two days.
As a child, Zero was distinguished by his weakness of spirit: numerous flashbacks portray him as a boy who cried easily and frequently. His closest friend was Tokine, who often helped him when he was in trouble, despite the fact that their grandparents disapproved of their being friends. Early on, Zero regarded his duties as a Kekkaishi with disdain and resented Shigemori for expecting so much of him so soon. He would often spend time playing soccer instead of training.
History:
Zero was born and the Houin, the mark of the Legitimate Successor, appeared on his hand after his birth. Zero was officially recognized as a Kekkaishi and sent alone to Karasumori at age 7. By then, 9 year-old Hikaru had already been on active duty for some time. Worried that Zero was too immature and not taking the job seriously,Hikaru, purposely allowed a small Ayakashi to roam free on Zeros first night of active duty, hoping him catching it would boost his confidence. However, not only did he fail to catch it, but a much larger Ayakashi, appeared and devoured it. Though Zero was able to capture Ayakashi with his larger than necessary Kekkai, he had trouble containing it, and it was only with Hikaru's help that he was able to destroy it. Hikaru then used Tenketsu to clean up the particles, by which time Zero had fallen asleep, exhausted from the night's activities. His older brother appeared to carry Zero home on his back, and asking Hikaru to look after him from then on.

or 2->Regeneration: Trent regenerates from most damage fairly quickly, including lost limbs 3->Sword Generation: Trent has the ability to grow sword-length blades from virtually anywhere on his body (though he most often preferred his palms, and could strengthen them by channeling his desire to destroy into the blades (though they could destroy most Kekkai even at the lowest setting) 4->Anti-Regenerative Damage: wounds caused by Trent's swords could not heal normally: cell activity in the impacted areas slowed down, so the wounds remained open far longer than they would normally. This would increase the chances of Trent's victims dying from blood loss. This ability even slowed down both regeneration.

1->Ayakashi Transformation: Dragon: Trent is able to transform into an enormous dragon with tiger-like stripes, and wields extremely powerful fire in this form. He is easily able to overwhelm any Masamori's Zekkai without using her full strength, leaving him completely exhausted and temporarily paralyzed. When Trent transforms back into a human from he’s nude, most likely because the clothes are destroyed in the transformation. 2->Sword Carapace: Trent releases the tips of a thousand swords out of his entire body. Anyone who attacks during this skill will get damage back. Trent must activate this skill in order to use Sword Release 3->Sword Release: Trent releases an enormous amount of swords from all his body. Whoever gets hit by theses swords will be immobilized for the next turn. Sword Carapace must be activated before Sword Release.

1->Flight: Two's wings enable him to fly, and he spends much of his combat time in the air. 2->Dance of Ashes: Trent releases a huge amount of inflammable ashes from his wings, that can be detonated by using Detonate. Anyone inside the Ashes are permanently blinded and can't use powers. Dance of Ashes can be used to release both Inflammable Ashes and Sword Release. 3->Detonate: The ashes released from Trent's Black Wings detonate in flames, burning a huge area.
Passive Ability:
1) Black Wings: The Ashes released by Black Wings may become Inflamable Ashes, that can exploded either by Detonate, or by any other Fire Skill.
Talent:
1->Superior Swordsman: Trent a highly skilled and motivated swordsman, and this was still true as an Ayakashi. 2->Superior Speed: Trent moved so quickly that it was extremely difficult to target him. This was especially true for a Kekkaishi, who would need time both to target and create a Kekkai: moving closer would put them within range of Trent's swords, and at a distance Trent had even more time to read their movements.

1.Spatial Phasing: Hikaru has also gained the ability to pass through foreign techniques, without disrupting the technique itself, from her grandmother. Though she could at first only enter Kekkai, Hikaru has since mastered this skill to point where she can phase her entire body through virtually any surface contained within a spirit realm (including Shinkai, which are spirit worlds themselves)
2. Utsusemi (空身, Empty Handed): learned from Mikeno, a high level technique which allows her to absorb the ability of another being, rendering attacks of the same type ineffective
3.Sekkai: A technique used to destroy foreign Kekkai
4. Tenketsu (天穴, Heavenly Hole): Opens a portal to another world and sends the shards of the enemy through to prevent regeneration. This technique requires using a shakujo, a Buddhist ringed staff, to perform it.

Shakujō (尺条): As with most Kekkaishi, Hikaru always carries a Shakujō while on duty. Smoke Bombs: Though she carries smoke bombs that emit pink smoke, she rarely uses them.
Medicine Paste: Hikaru uses special medicine paste that is either made or simply owned by her grandmother. The paste is effective on wounds caused by Ayakashi, since it purifies jyaki.
Sealed Ayakashi Beast: Honshū Wolf "Landlord": none Personality:
Hikaru is cool, calm, and collected. She takes her job as a Kekkaishi very seriously, and has viewed Karasumori as a highly dangerous place for much of her life. Her hobbies include studying and occasionally hanging out with friends. Hikaru is constantly impressed by the power and potential Zero has, but is constantly frustrated by his poor control and lazy attitude, as well as his habit of putting himself in danger unnecessarily. She cares for Zero and often protected him many times when he was younger. She also likes to tease him and isn't aware of his feelings for her. However, as the story progresses, she begins to show clear signs of affection for Zero, though this is typically expressed through Hikaru bursting into frustrated tears while she verbally or physically attacks Zero after he does something incredibly dangerous.
History:
As children, Hikaru and Zero played together, though in secret due to their family rivalry (despite this, both of their fathers encouraged their friendship). Hikaru often rescued and comforted Zero whenever he found himself in trouble, but as a result, he managed to leave a lasting impression on her as being a crybaby in need of her protection.
Both Hikaru and Zero began their Kekkaishi training at an early age: Hikaru began training seriously as a child so she could one day assist her father, but between his desire for her to wait and his unexpected death in the line of duty, this never happened. Zero was officially recognized as a Kekkaishi and sent alone to Karasumori at age 7. The defining moment in Hikaru's relationship with Zero occurred when she was 11 years old: Zero, still unwilling to take his Kekkaishi duties seriously, encountered an Ayakashi that had the appearance of a young, wounded girl. His hesitation allowed the girl to transform into the fearsome Yumigane, which then attack him. Hikaru pushed him aside, receiving slash wounds on her right arm, but managed to destroy Yumigane. Hikaru yelled at Zero for not doing his job, stressing that Ayakashi would do anything to buy the time they need to transform and get stronger, and that being sympathetic would only allow them to kill people. Hiakru then collapsed from her injuries, and Zero carried her back to her home. Hikaru developed a fever, likely a reaction to Yumigane's poison, and was bedridden for several days. Zero worried nonstop and blamed himself for her injures, and made a promise that he would never allow Hikaru or anyone else to be hurt by Karasumori. Even though Hikaru eventually recovered, the visible scars on her right arm remain a constant reminder to them both of Zero's stubborn insistence on protecting her whenever possible.

2)Tail Shield: Kaien can harden his tail and use it as a shield.
3)Claw Strike: When fully transformed, Kaien performs his signature X-strike with both claws instead of his tail. Kekkaishi Partner: Hikaru Ross Personality: Kaien is far more easygoing than Ryuu, which is reflected in his more comfortable working relationship with Hikaru. He is both fond of Hikaru and eager to assist her, especially if it means making Ryuu and Zero look bad. Due to their close partnership, Kaien is often able to identify when something is bothering Hikaru, and will offer his advice, even when he knows she may resent him for it. History: Nothing is known about Kaien's past before he began serving Hikaru Ross. Kaien was both present and still alive when he first met Ryuu. Appearance:

Collar- Ryuu wears a collar composed of purple beads and charms on a string of Nenshi. The collar acts a seal that limits Ryuu's power. If it is removed, Ryuu's true power (seemingly connected to his earthly remains) rushes out and joins with him, restoring his true form and all the power associated with it. However, in this state, there is a danger of Ryuu becoming wild as he taps into his true Ayakashi nature. Powers and Abilities: Sealed 2:
1.) High Sense of Smell: As a demon dog, Ryuu has an extremely high sense of smell that he uses to find the Ayakashi Zero needs to destroy. Apparently, his sense of smell is so great, he can tell if someone has special powers.

Though highly experienced in hunting Ayakashi, Ryuu tends to be lazy or selfish when the mood strikes him. He is generally unsatisfied with having Zero for a partner, but would rather work with him than look bad in comparison to Kaien, who is younger and less experienced.
History:
Zero was appointed a Kekkaishi at 7 years old, at which point he was placed in Ryuu's care and sent to Karasumori without any other assistance (though Hikaru and Kaien were also on duty already). Zero did not take his duties seriously, and Ryuu quickly became annoyed with his relaxed approach. At Zero's request, Ryuu sniffed out Masamori's desk so Zero could write insults on it. Ryuu grew further annoyed when Zero proved unable to capture a small, harmless Ayakashi, which was eventually eaten by Hanauo, a much larger Ayakashi. Zero was easily able to capture Hanauo because it is so slow, but required Hikaru's help to actually destroy it.

Human Form:
1) Mind Control: Aki can control others by placing one of her spiders into their body, where it essentially takes up residence, and remains until either removed or destroyed. She can even hide many serpents in a single victim, so that they in turn can pass them on to others, bringing them under her control as well. She can almost completely take over another's mind, and she is able to control an entire army at once. But she must strengthen her control over them regularly, or else risk her control fading. 2)Body Possession: Aki are able to forcibly take over the bodies of others, transferring their own minds into a new body. She has survived this way for centuries. and Aki can also attaching a spider to the end of her thread, Aki can subtly slip it onto an enemy and take complete control of their body. 3) Experimental Control: He has the power to control people. She regularly performed horrible experiments on human bodies in a special laboratory. He could also make a new type of Kurokabuto, an extremely powerful Ayakashi like a giant samurai swordsman, which could be controlled by her.
1st Spider Transformation:
As an Ayakashi, Aki retains his former abilities, and displays additional powers. 1)"White or Silver or clear Silk": Aki's most direct method of attack is a white or silver thread curled around her finger, which can be used as a whip, or to grab and hurl objects at her foes. 2)Healing: Aki is able to heal Trent, apparently through sheer will, as she was nowhere near him at the time, and takes credit for it when Trent returns to her.
2nd Spider Transformation:
As an Ayakashi, Aki retains his former abilities, and displays additional powers. 1) Scythes: Aki uses his two massive scythes as her primary weapons. 2) Steel Shell: Its shell is extremely hard, it had to take a multi-layered Kekkai to even crack it. 3) Shell Shed- It grows stronger each time it sheds its shell. It takes five or more Kekkai to destroy one shell. The shells were also used as distractions so it could gain more power while others try to find her.
Passive Abilities
1) Body Transformation: Aki can transform her body into many different shapes but mostly into a giant spider-like shape. Her primary way of attacking is growing multiple spikes from her body and stabbing several enemies at once with them. She also eats Ayakashi, though this has only been seen as a defensive measure so far. 2)Spider Goons: Aki commands an unlimited number of acrobatic, black-garbed minions. They have limited intelligence, but tend to overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers. Aki can also transform other Ayakashi into spider goons, and still allow them to retain their abilities, to be used in service to her. 3)Majestic Aura: Unlike most Ayakashi, Aki usually does not have an evil aura that can be sensed (unless she is extremely angry, at which time her evil aura is enormously powerful). Instead, those who encounter her only feel as if they are in the presence of royalty.
Talents:
1) Keen Analysis: Aki is very perceptive, and can often gain a great deal of information merely by watching her opponents. She also can detect intruders in Trent's home track people by there scent. 2) Keen Intellect: Aki, has proven to be a capable strategist, developing effective ways of escape even when faced with dangerous situations. She can plan by taking into account what she has observed in others, or in her environment.
Equipment:Summoning- Kamina: Aki commands Kamina, a giant, black, bat-like demon that she summons from a briefcase covered in talismans.
