| i woke from a peaceful sleep and looked out the window, to see that it was still dark outside, i checked my clock and was shocked to see it was past ten in the morning. "what the hell is going on?" i asked my self, jumping out of bed and pulling on my pants and throwing my jacket over my shoulder. i walked out of my front door and made my way to the end of the street as i did i heard, what seemed to be laughter, but ti was quiet, i looked around and saw nobody around, just then something small flew past and snatched my jacket away from me. "look yunie i got it." a female voice said, i spun to see the thief. "pixies? what is going on?" there was three pixie like creatures floating no more then a foot away, they were all female and one that was wearing yellow was holding my jacket. "well what does it look like dummy, your jacket is now in the possession of the gullwings." the one in black told me. "i don't think so, gimme my jacket back right now." "you'll have to catch us." the one in white said, as all three turned and flew down an alley, i gave chase and tried to keep up with them. eventually they flew into a dead end and i had them cornered. "ok enough running girls, give me the jacket, you haven't got any other options." i extended my hand, but the girls just laughed. "before you worry about us, why don't you worry about them." the one in yellow pointed behind me and there was a dozen small black creatures blocking my path. "oh great." i said preparing to fight, as one of the creatures lunged at me, i felt a strange energy and then a sword appeared in my hand to block the attack. i pushed the creature back and examined the sword, it was silver and looked like a key, with a lions head at the tip. but before i could even get a feel for it another one of the creature came at me, i swung the sword down and on top of it's head and it vanished. "did i get it?" as i said this the rest of them came at me, i parried most of their attacks and sliced a few more of them down, before stopping to regain my composure. the creatures hesitated at first but then sunk through the floor and escaped. "what were they?" i asked the three girls but when i turned to face them they where gone and my jacket was laying on the ground. (not completely sure if this is what you meant, but if not let me know and i can edit it and save this for else where.) |
