I think i must be one of the few who generally dislike the opening :'] its not particularly bad, its just very ollllllld animu styled. IDK i just didn't think it suited the anime much, well more so the manga since i've read that first. I dont know if its the song or the animation, but i think if it was even animated differently i might like it more :'] i generally watch all animu openings all the time but i find this ones to boring and i always skip it~

edit: BUT YES,yes i did oTL

I totally agree with you! This opening is BORING. The song is just to quiet in my opinion. I've liked other openings before that weren't poppy and upbeat but this one is very slow and I always skip it. The only part of the animation I like is when they look at each other at the end.

Well, this OP song was actually written for Love Hina, the artist Ritsuko Okazaki passed away quite a time ago so thats maybe the reason it feel a bit old.

Nope, but then yet I never seen that anime so I wouldn't know. But the song is starting to grow on me.

I-I kinda freaked out a bit when I heard who was singing it.... 0_0 Ritsuko Okazaki... who sang For Fruits Basket... and passed away back in 2006. How exactly is that possible? XD

Anyways, I tend to skip this opening because it's too quiet and doesn't so much suit the anime...
"Aiming for the mark takes precision, balance, and patience."

....Screw that, let's shoot the damn thing!

It gave me major nostalgia for "Fruits Basket," since I heavily associate Ritsuko Okazaki with the OG series. At first, I wasn't even certain it was Ritsuko Okazaki (thought it was a singer who was just really resembling her voice), because I thought this anime came out in 2018 at first and then I saw that it was actually 2012 and still thought that it wasn't her, because I thought she passed away earlier than that and I was right, but looks like they still wanted to use one of her songs for this series and it was the perfect choice. You cannot go wrong with her music. Yet another way this series gained a point with me.
