| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- CLAMP ARE A BUNCH OF BITCHES. I mean, how is TRC going to end? At this rate everyone is going to be on a wheelchair when they find Fei Wang Reed ( to make you pay for your evil deeds I'm going to run over your foot...repeatedly) They finally got out of Celes! with only one limb less than before! The first time I read it I wasn't too sure why Kurogane chopped his arm, but now I presume someone (or a part of) had to stay inside the trap...it's all too twisted really. I don't get how Kurogane can still be alive with a wound the size of his own head on his right side and his left arm chopped off... If I'm not wrong kamui loses one an arm in X and gets it back, so maybe there is hope for Kurogane. There is the chance that Fai will finally learn how to use healing magic, but if using magic makes him ill...It's too confusing!!!8O Or maybe kurogane could get a cybernetic arm. That would be great! And why does Fei Wang feel compelled to narrate everything?XD And why did Yuuko and Clow equip the Mokonas with a LASER CANON??? O.o And Fai lost his fluffy coat...T-T |

It's got to be because they have the same blood. You're a genius. As for the laser cannon, they needed some damn way to get out of that, and I'm glad that Yuuko is again the closest we come to an all powerful, all knowing creature. Yuuko, can I meet you in real life? Otherwise, I was thinking about him getting some sort of cybernetic arm, or something. It'd be awesome if Fai could grow it back though. I'm also wondering if this might affect the "curse" Tomoyo put on him... I mean, shouldn't Kurogane be weakened already, aside from the "with a wound the size of his own head on his right side and his left arm chopped off" as yuuko so lovely put it? Or! Or! Or! Could Kurogane be going home and Tomoyo fix him all up, and all that fun stuff. Haha, I doubt it. This is my first real manga exposure to CLAMP, so I cannot predict anything with any real accuracy. I will have to go back to waiting impatiently for the next (kiss ass) chapter! |

About the curse I was thinking the same thing so I went back and reread the chapter when Kurogane was forced to leave. It does say for each person he kills his strength will lessen BUT it also says any unnecessary death will be forbidden to him. So, I don't think Kurogane's strength will lessen since Ashura was trying to kill Fai, Kurogane killed him to save Fai. But then again this is all just guessing, I have no idea what will happen. And did anyone notice... Kurogane had cut his arm off with the sword, but isn't that what was left of his father? His arm that was holding a sword? >.> |

| yes it was. and the arm that Kurogane lost is the one that had Tomoyo's scar as well. oh how meaningful...! About the curse, Tomoyo told Kurogane that it was a curse, but when kurogane was killing Ashura it was revealed as a protective seal, not a curse. So Tomoyo was bluffing. That's what I thought, I may be wrong. |

His arm that was holding a sword? >.> Interestingly enough, I was just reading through Volume 13 (Kurogane's past)... they have some weird obsession with arms. At least according to the translation, when Tomoyo stops her "sister" from eliminating the crazed Kuro, she says, "If you were to stop him, it would cost you your arm". Someone also said (somewhere) that the arm Kuro lost was the one with the scar from Tomoyo... his father's arm was also the one with the dragon tattoo... I never knew arms had hidden meanings. Eyes, I can understand... but ARMS?? o.O |

XD I noticed the scar fact when i was reading the chapter, I thought it was all very symbolic. | I actually thought at first that Kurogane had cut off his arm to feed Fai and give him a power boost, but cutting off his entire arm would have been too much for that. The arm and sword being too much "weight" makes sense, though it's too bad he'll lose his sword now. |
