Poor Fuyumi and Tetsu. It's.. so sad. :/

I'm happy Shuuji and Chise have reunited, but they both know, without having to tell each other, that their time together is limited as Chise becomes less human every second.. I guess they've moved past all their problems that must seem petty for them now, because they both witnessed the fragile gift of life in their time apart.

And after an endless road of cheating, they have found there way back to each other.

Why are there earthquakes. They never explained it. Is it supposed to be due to Chise's attacks? The series is getting better as it goes on. I think Shuji is getting more redeemable, and there is more characterization added to both him and Chise. The rest of the characters are just fillers because they don't have a lot of backstory.

Nice restraint. I thought it could have gone the other way. Shuji having sex with Fuyumi and Chise walking in on them. Thank goodness it wasn't that depressing.

You DO know that earthquakes happen nearly all of the time in Japan right? The reason why Akemi died in the end was because JSDF and the government couldn't really care less about helping them, when the majority of their armed forces have already died on the battlefield and are still fighting. That explains the lack of help the victims received.

It sure is good of them to give me a friendly reminder to not continue beyond past episode 10, the fansubbers. But how can I just stop at episode 10? The first episode already foreshadowed future events, so I just have to watch it...in fact, even up until 10, it is already very depressing. I want to see how far it can get...and I am very happy the both of them could get past their differences and become a love couple again.

P/S: They sure like to make people die after a final blood vomiting eh?

Pretty much

Shame the anime doesnt really portray the war that well, we see some glimpses of it but thats it.
It knows how to be depressing as hell though

Shuji and Chise running into the sunset... I've got a felling I should stop watching here, next episodes will bring nothing but tears. :(

R.I.P. Tetsu and Atsushi. Same as with Akemi, their last moments were full with fear and despair. I really appreciate the depiction of death in this series.

Used to remember seeing the following back in the day from fansubs at the end of episode 10. Whether you find this heartwrenching or laughable is your call:
