| Well they didn't show Misty giving the badge to Red, but it was not unlikely since they are friends and helped each other. I'm more curious about Lt. Surge. He's also a gym leader but Red does not have HIS badge. That surely means he will appear again sooner or later. |
| Red owns Ivysaur. Blue owns Charmeleon. Green owns Wartorle. It would have made more sense to match up the colors, but that’s probably just me. |

When Red said goodbye to Misty, he already had the second medal in his jacket. |
