Do You Support Frozen Teardrop?
| There has been quite a lot of mixed reactions regarding Frozen Teardrop, die-hard Wing fans love the continuation of the Wing saga, whereas others hate it, even among those who love the Wing series, believing it ret-cons the events that happen in the original TV anime, Endless Waltz, and the various side manga to the extreme and think Katsuyuki Sumisawa is writing a long-winded fanfiction rather than an actual continuation that makes sense. My opinion on it is mixed, sure it is nice to have a continuation to the Wing-universe, but I don't like the direction it's going, too many non-sensical factors are being indoctrinated into the story, such as making Treize have a volatile family background, without any regard to the kind of man he was in the original anime as a stable man with a good head on his shoulders indicating being bred in a stable home. Most of it is a jumbled mess and unnecessary filler, it would be fine if the series stayed on topic of the post-Endless Waltz story, to maintain consistancy. So, now that I've said my opinion, I would like to hear yours regarding Frozen Teardrop. |
