| Heck yeah there better be. I mean... hopefully. As pointed for so many times now, Strike Witches is garnering massively unexpected popularity. Examples: - "strike_witches" image archive soaring through 40 pages in danbooru imageboard in over 10 weeks - Numerous Witches-related threads in 4chan's /a/ and /w/ - Figures seen in ebay - Patches as trend for hardcore fans - Bloggers responds to plot twists, service, censorship - C74 doujins spreading in the interweb - More merchandise and uncensored DVDs coming soon I say... despite of the "no-pantsu" agenda people can't get over in the past, these could be signs of a series going through a phase to glory. Reminds me of older titles like Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. I don't know much about the condition of Gonzo right now but I'm optimistic about a sequel. |

Yeah with all the Neuroi and government and everything, they've got a lot to cover in the next episode. I don't think we'll be given a cliffhanger, but they'll have to leave some stuff out just to have time. Hell, there'd better be a sequel. I've never wanted anime merchandise this bad. I only stopped watching at got behind a little bit because I wanted to catch up on old anime and savor this one that's currently airing. (My current priorities that old => more important to watch than new.) And it seems to be popular too. And a lot of whether something gets a single derives from whether or not a show sells good. And how good it sells. Save your company Gonzo, give us more Strike Witches. |

| ending is left open so there is possibility for another season or maybe ova's or movie. There is also possibility of ova that have the same universe but different characters. But I think right now they don't plan another season, it's probably depends on DVD sales :) |
| Looking at how they ended this series I'd like to say it's going to be possible that it would have another season. I think there are still other places that are conquered by Neurois. And the possibility of having new characters is likely to happen but I wanted the old characters at least show up. I'm really gonna miss them all. T_T I really hope it will have a new season! It has become my favorite and my feeding source for the lack of Mai-HiME series. LOL! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! |

| i would certainly love to see a second season... given the climate of the current economy, i would bet many production company will start sifting through non performing serries and and cut down on some areas. while some of the major money players might be able to put out some good stuff, well probably see certain sequel worthy shows get put on hold. it wouldnt surprise me if some shows got their sequels months or even years after. then again, people LOVE anime... |
