So um, yeah. Episode 11, and everyone's sent back while the Warlock unit runs wild. I wonder how this will end and if they're going to make a second season?

No fanservice and I kinda already predicted the ending last week, but I really liked the action this time. It's like SW went back to its roots from Episode 2. The part where Erica tried to wave down the truck had me laughing out loud. =D I really hope there's a season 2. We need more Strike Witches!

Haha, I saw that coming. If that unit was powered by Neuroi, then it was only a matter of time when the Neuroi would use it against the humans. Looks like our witches need to take off once more to save the day.

The Warlock came out a bit stronger than I expected, this will make the final battle interesting. I'm looking forward to a combination attack from all witches or a katana strike from Miyafuji to take it down.

Unfortunately I don't think there will be enough time to satisfactorily explain all the details involving the nature of the research behind the Warlock and the nature of the neuroi.

The car passing by Hartmann was hilarous. :D

Otherwise, I'm starting to hate that Warlock, and I hope there's an epic final battle.

Nice episode more action less ecchi. WTF is Maloney's problem? Getting rid of Neuroi and controlling world. Yeah right and I HAVE MARS TO MY NAME! Dream on Maloney no one is going to stand to have a piece of shit like you to take control.

Like EVERYONE SAYS the part of truck passing by with Hartman was actually not ecchi but I find it more MOE! Big time!

The Warlock is Piece of **** mother ****** pile of JUNK MADE OF METAL! That thing ain't human nor there is anyone inside! So the classic crap of robot replaces humans will not last cause the malfunction already happened.

So in the end better damn right the Strike Witches will win!

Nice Charlotte plane! I wish it was not red but the model is simple and nice.

Warlock controlling the Neuroi= to itself being controlled cause the core can be accessed by both factions. So this is what happened: Warlock takes control of the Neuroi making them killing each other and then those in the hive take control of the Warlock. Wonderfully simple...yes?

Too bad Mr. Maloney was too stupid to even notice this.

See ya in #12 and HELL YEAH IT WILL BE EPIC!

Depends on what the malfunction was...

Looked like the Neuroi were the first to try and network Warlock to their collective when the core activated itself (resonance of all the Neuroi sided cores circling it?), and it almost backfired when Warlock started having the Neuroi attack each other (at least two tried to take Warlock out, but failed).

It's also become quite obvious that the Neuroi's ideology is misunderstood, as if they had used their full military might in the beginning the invasion likely would've been over before the Striker pack was even developed. Previously they sent only one craft at a time, even after they would've established their technological might against humanity the attacks didn't really escalate all that much (still one craft at a time, just a little more frequently but several days apart). Unless I miscounted I tagged 69 Neuroi ships networked with Warlock, and with the size of a hive an all out defense force could easily swell into the hundreds.

But will it be Warlock alone, or an entire hive armada that the 501st have to deal with?

Now I wonder if it was the same General Maloney who gave the order to attack the Neuroi in the beginning? Thinking back to the start with the three fighter/pursuit planes that came up to a Neuroi hive with guns blazing...

Two things I would like to add to your speech: 1. The Neuroi might help the witches kill the warlock cause it will be most likely Miyafuji who attacks it and she is the only witch to have direct non-violent contact with Neurois.

2.The Maloney incident reminds of ET when ET itself did nothing until humans started shooting their guns at them then it got offensive. That is exactly how bees would react if their hive was attacked.

So yeah that's all.

How could they make the decision to disband the Witches even before they "adimt the aptness of warlock than witches" which the xx officer is trying so hard after he announced the disband order...?and yet there is only one warlock which is still at experiment phase ,without any provement of whether it is able to replace the Withes or not...

WTF so they really give the order last episode to shoot down Miyafuji.
I thought I must have been seeing things. The order to kill Miyafuji?
I don't believe it. I mean I know they're going by World War II, but I don't believe this.
If they really got the order to kill Miyafuji they would have been crying.

Anyway this episode was action packed. But sadly that was when Strike Witches weren't there to be a part of it.

I still don't understand what's going here with the Neuroi and the higher areas of the military government. But I guess I'll find out all there is to know about the Neuroi on the next episode. That's a lot to fill though.

this episode was ok. im sad that the next is going to be the last because i not theyre not going to answer every question in the series within one episode. sad thing is that i heard that support for strike witches hasnt been that good, so chances are slim that they will make a second season. considering this may be the last time i get to see strike witches since i cant find the manga, im going to go into my closet to cry.

I'm guessing the Neuroi's original goal was to try and communicate with the earth people. As we saw in the first two eps that described the past war, it looked like humanity automatically labeled the Neuroi as enemy's and attacked them without attempting to make contact. The Neuroi probably assumed humans where not yet capable of communication so they ended up waiting and gaining knowledge. unfortunately this waiting caused the world to panic and attack even more causing nations to fall when Neuroi defended them selves or simply retaliated.

Someone other then Miyafuji, probably her dad, made contact with them and learned about new technology, enough to make the Striker boots. Later the military probably seized this information and silenced her dad to cover up the fact that there was ever contact made with the Neuroi. The military probably stole a special Neuroi core, similar to the one Miyafuji saw, to experiment on. This probably resulted in them making the Warlock in secret. The Neuroi most likely got pissed and attacked Humans in order to retrieve the missing Neuroi core.

A few years later the Witches show up, girls with powers normal humans don't have. It makes sense that they would have the ability to make contact with the Neuroi if they tried hard enough. I think at this point the Neuroi split. Half where fighting to get what was stolen and the other half where trying to make contact with the witches (thus the copying of Witch's personality's). The hive seems to be a collective conscience of some kind where all the Neuroi cores link up and share what they've learned. I think thats why once the Neuroi made contact with Sanya they changed their game plan and stopped attacking. Miyafuji kind of figured this out but wanted to make sure. Once her and the Neuroi made contact at the Hive the Neuroi attempted to explain the truth to her about why they came to the planet and why they're even fighting....unfortunately it was cut short. The Warlock's ability to link to all the Neuroi only proves that it's core is similar to the one in the Hive. Now that it's free I think it's doing payback for what the military did to it.

I have a feeling the next ep Miyafuji will figured this out.

This is just my theory anyway, it could be something totally different.

I AGREED 100% with the above but you missed some notions, like the possibility of the Neuroi consuming the earth due to their needs but we do not know their needs. At least what you explained is exactly from the witches and humans view. We still need more info about Neurois thus a second season with more about them would be a ++++++.

Yeah well, though we've been shown the lighter side of the Neuroi, I don't think any evidence has been shown that we humans struck first. First things we always hear are "they attacked us", as if to say, we didn't care for their existence, but then they starting blowing us to death so we had to do something about it. But that doesn't leave for much of a deep story is it? Too plain to not give them a personality or at least some kind of depth.

But in the very least, it's been shown that the Neuroi don't have an entirely violent side.
I must say, ever since the night flying episodes I started thinking about such things.
And the thing with the Warlock almost seems to solidify the Neuroi as a misunderstood creature.

And certainly they couldn't not develop on Miyafuji's little plot twist. It seemed a bit inevitable even from the beginning when she said "I don't like war" and the night flying episode where the Neuroi were friendly. They almost made you feel sorry for the Neuroi in that one. I think there will most certainly be a season two, and it will entail focusing on the development of her lost dad, and discovering more about the Neuroi. And the government, where did the government get the understanding to make a mock-neuroi? With the government and the missing dad who invented Strike Units and the neuroi, it all just smells of conspiracy.

omg I just watched episode 11, and jesus, that was the WORST bullshit ever. They have really got to be running out of ideas to pull this crap off... all of sudden add a super weapon, 5 minutes later that super weapons goes loose, and turns into the final boss. Like, WOW, is this some kind of kids show for 10 year olds?! dispite the fact all the fan service and just for some wild reason girls don't wear pants?!

Not to mention the character development sucks hard, and with this, ending is so predictable, you can probably just watch episode 1-3 and jump to episode 11 & 12 and know the story in perfect sense.

Jesus, these people gotta be better than that! I bet they're just pulling crap out of their ass just to make the deadline.

It could be that the eye only takes on that hue when she is activating her magic. So when she is resting in hospital, her eye is like a humans, but when she is activily using it, it goes all funky like!

It's set in the 1940's, so I guess sonic aircraft is supposed to be innovative. I think the worst part is the name. Warlock isn't very creative. It would've been funny if they called it the Wiz. I expected that the Neuroi would take it over once they headed toward the cloud. Especially once they activated the core control. Only one more episode left.

The narrative makes it easy to understand that there is something wrong in the actions of certain individuals, but the situation is not forced, and the sad moments are mitigated by sympathy shown by Trude, Minna and Erica. The final turn on the episode in the right way. Drawings and animations with ups and downs, what a pity!

An episode that is a prelude to what will happen in the next, the narration finally reveals the intrigues of the palace, as if to say that the enemy is not the one in front of you, but can also hide behind you. Narration all in all not bad, which manages to involve despite not having the right emotional transport, the credit always goes to the characters, some moments are fun too (good Erica). The ending is catchy even in the new version. The drawings have ups and downs in the quality. The final minutes are the most exciting and give you the desire to see the next episode immediately.

The General did a mistake, Warlock jammed the control of them and decided to betrayed them in an instant, without any break! Savage, like a king, eh, Warlock? Oh, man, its actually funny, how these twist turned out so fast than i can anticipated. So, like i said before, the girl changed the subject of their goals, and took a resoosibility over a bunch of ridiculous peoples. Such a very unfortunate situations they had there. I hope that division got fired, because they were all just useless xD.

But, they, er i mean, Miyafuji must took the risk. So, lets see the end of their shitty drama that sometimes its just began from a mere misunderstanding. At least its had a nice fanservices time. Or else this is just a dumbass, and i like being a dumb. Oh, wow, what a story. Its actually pretty funny, tho, with its simplicity xD.

Hm.. So at least it seems that commandment aren't the ones who created Neuroi.. Well, at least not this dude with this new robot they showed up with.. As it seems they just created robot, by researching Neuroi technology, they'd just have more, if they were behind everything.. Still some other commandment could be behind all Neuroi stuff, or who knows, who is behind everything..
For me right now it seems that this dude with the robot - just power hungry small group, who stumbled upon Neuroi, created a robot, and now hope that will fastly just gain results, will be able to produce more robots, and eventually conquer the world.. It seems it's just small group like this.. I suspect there is probably more huge power behind everything.. And this dude and his company.. Just a group of chevaliers/ opportunists, and that's all..
Hm, this robot can control Neurois, hm.. And now he gone crazy.. Alright..
And this dude even decided to turn off robot in the end.. Yeah.. This company really doesn't seem like masterminds after everything..
And last episode next.. It was a great anime so far..
