Does this movie indicate the end of the anime?

On other anime sites, such as ANN, the fairy tail movie is listed as a sequel. Probably a silly question but does that mean the anime has a good chance of ending in the fall?

No way. Mashima himself admitted that he has no intentions to end manga in the following years. And as long as manga keeps on going, so will anime - it's one of the most popular in Japan though.

ANN could list anything as a sequel including an OVA or Movie, but that doesn't mean it's the end. The movie is just another day's adventure for the Fairy Tail characters. Think of it like a very short anime arc, but in the form of a movie ;D.
