| Because its a different mangaka the feel of the characters will obviously be different. The other Maou seems kind of playful and cute, on the other hand this Maou feels a little more stern. I'll keep reading to see how she changes in the future! |

Yeah she seems more of a high-class lady than a MOEMOEHNNNGGH sort of character. Also, after reading the walls of text in the end, anyone else find it interesting that Hero and the others might have unjustifiably killed non-belligerent demons living in the human world in order to gain fame? Hmm... Finally, I'm all for more literal translations when the time needs it, but damn... that was a pain in the ass to understand. Had I not read one of the spin-offs, I would have been thoroughly confused. Edit: It seems like this version left out some of the economics that the "I refuse" version included. |

| Art aside, I believe the other manga (Kotowari version) handles the story much better, with more detail and better pacing. This one feels very rushed |

Exactly, but this one does seems to follow the anime more faithfully. Sigh, I still preferred the other, more humorous version. |
