I mean, WTH? :o I haven't seen the anime, but I've just started reading the (Japanese version of) the manga, and to me, it read like the line you quoted from the anime. My Japanese is far from perfect, but I'm struggling to see how someone could get the second translation from the Japanese line (こいつはきっと 傷つける側の人間だ). I've seen a few reviews of this manga saying that it's confusing, but having read through the first 3 volumes, it's seemed fairly straightforward to me. It might be that it gets much more convoluted later on, but the quote above makes me wonder how much of the confusion might be due to the translation. |
