| It'll definitely be a challenge to adapt whatever number of chapters/volumes into 2? episodes. With the series, each episode was approximately one chapter (anime skipped many chapters). If the OVA is confirmed to be only 2-episodes, then my guess is that the director will show highlights of all the unimportant games and dive right into the final match for the second part of the OVA. It makes much sense to do this, than cover each game, regardless of how epic they may have been in the manga. Plus, I would like to see more scenes involving Shimizu and her children. |

If anything Season 6 was the mess as it had added filler in for quite a bit of episodes towards the end. Something other seasons didn't really do. |

| for me season 1-3 were awesome, season 4 was ok (not bad cause when i rewatch the series i dont skip it), season 5 was AWESOME, and season 6 was ok (not bad cause when i rewatch the series i dont skip it). the movie was pretty good- though not awesome, and the message ova was pretty good - though not awesome :) i wanna watch the world cup but idt its online yet :( |

| Well, that was boring. It wasn't what I was expecting, but any new anime episode of Major is good enough for me. It didn't seem to show any of Goro's kids, so I am suspecting the World Series occurs before he has kids and while Shimizu is pregnant (with her first child), which I guess makes sense since they skipped it in the series. However, ending the Major franchise on these two OVA episodes is kind of lame. I personally found Major: Message superb and it really justified the end of Major, but now we have to go back to the past. Review based on raw. |

It was somewhat realistic IMO, it's not like the team itself was really playing well against Kaido. And with Shigeno, Kaido barely had any hits, and Seishuu isn't a complete garbage team either. Beginners? yes, but they can still manage a little. |
