| Yup, I'm bored, and since I like Fire Emblem (a lot) I'll try starting a character database for people. This post is going to be for Fire Emblem: Sacred Stone aka Fire Emblem 8, as that is the one I most recently played through. Afterwards, I'll cover Fuuin no Tsurugi (6), Rekka no Ken (7), Path of Radiance (9) and Radiant Dawn(10). Probably. Although DEFINITELY not today ^_^; Sacred Stones Continent of Magvell Renais: The country Eirika and Ephraim hail from. Fairly peaceful, nothing about them stands out particularly. Grado The main "enemy" nation, it was known for it's military might and wyverns. They have six generals, all named after stones (aka, Valter the Moonstone). The Sacred Stone they keep is also known as the "Fire Emblem" because it itself holds the Demon King's soul, and glows for it. Frelia: Another fairly friendly nation known for its pegasus knights and strategy. Close with Renais. Rausten: The high-class, magic central of Magvell. Very strong belief in justice and being “holy”. Jehanna: The desert nation, where life is insanely difficult. It breeds a lot of mercenaries of great strength. Though not organized as a royal force, it is probably the most powerful country next to Grado. Carcino: A merchant-based country ruled by a council. The weakest country, no doubt. ------------------------ Okay, on to the characters. The order might seem random, but I know what I'm doing (I think...). PLAYABLE CHARACTERS Name: Eirika Homeland:Renais Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=115 Starting Class: Lord (Swords) Promoted Class(es): Great Lord (Swords, Horse) Bio: The princess of Renais, and Ephraim's twin sister. She is very anti-violence, but also hates to be protected; she forced her brother to teach her how to fight in case of emergencies. She is easy to talk to and very sociable, but also worries a lot. Her sincerity makes her easy to manipulate, but her will is strong. Extremely close with her brother. Unlike his sister, he loves battle, but is very confused when it comes to politics. He is said to be a great tactician, and while more blunt than his sister, Ephraim is still easy to talk to. Some might call him oblivious though. Extremley close with his sister. Always in control, he is very loyal to his homeland, and especially his king. After "escorting" Eirika out of Renais Castle, he vows to protect her. Very proud of his homeland (as are most Renais knights). Though loyal to his homeland, he is much less demanding of himself than most knights. Forde is also a landscape painter, and apparantly a good one. Handpicked as Ephraim's aid. Often stressing, yet possessing faith in himself and his country. He thinks of little more than his services as a knight, though he has a hobby of making wooden figurines. He's also been known to lighten up when with the right people. Handpicked as Ephraim's aid. He still has a heart of a warrior, but had pledged himself to his son rather than his country. Name: Ross Homeland: Renais Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=184 Starting Class: Journeyman (Axes, TRAINEE UNIT) Promoted Class(es); First Round: Fighter (Axes) Pirate (Axes, can walk on water) Journeyman (Axes) Promoted Classes; Second Round: Warrior (Axes + Bows) Hero (Axes + Swords) Berserker (Axes, high Critical, can walk on water) Journeyman (Axes, high Critical) Bio: Son of the warrior Garcia, Ross. That’s how this young warrior always introduced himself. He is very motivated to becoming a strong warrior like his father. His inexperience and young age, however, make that task very difficult to reach. Very naive and stubborn, but good at heart. NOTE: Ross is a TRAINEE UNIT. This means that he starts with horrible, horrible stats, but gains EXP very quickly. Upon reaching Level 10, he will stop gaining experience. Entering the Tower of Valhni at this point will automatically call up his promotion screen, and he will promote into a normal, stage one unit (ie, myrmidon, archer, etc). Also, after completing both Eirika and Ephraim’s stories on a cartridge (so third or higher play-through), Ross will be able to continue on as a Journeyman, modified into the normal stage one and stage two unit. The point of this? His growths as a Journeyman are very different than your normal axe wielder, and he gains a decent Critical bonus upon reaching the final Journeyman promotion. Name: Neimi Homeland: Renais Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=492 Starting Class: Archer (Bows, can use Ballistae) Promoted Class(es): Sniper (Bows, Sure Shot skill, can use Ballistae) OR Ranger (Bows + Swords, Horse) Bio: A seemingly normal girl who grew up in a small Renais village. She is in fact the granddaughter of a famous Renais archer, and inherited his skills (though she doesn’t think so). Known to cry a lot, she is very close with Colm and tries her best to help others out. A childhood friend of Neimi, he cares about her greatly, despite what it may look like. Sarcastic and quick to anger, he steals only because he needs to in order to survive, and he frowns upon those who steal for entertainment. Extremely proud of his speed and thieving abilities. Timid and simple-minded, he is a typical monk in terms of his faith in higher powers. A friend of Lute, he is one of the only people who understands her strange personality. And through her, he has held onto a fear of spiders. Whether or not that is true is arguable. She remembers practically anything she reads, but most of her experience is just that; books. Her personality is very strange; self-centered, straightforward, often rude, and never afraid. She tends to have a bit of a stalking habit when she finds someone to study, and Artur seems to be the one she often finds. Many find him rude, and he is very competitive with Ephraim, but he is very respected. His relationship with Tana is nothing like Eirika and Ephraim's, but the siblings still care for each other. Innes is mysteriously a hit with women. Always protected against her will, she is much more aggressive than Eirika, and jealous of her relationship with Ephraim. Though she tries to be friendly with her brother Innes, she is often shot down. Very dedicated to her work, she tries to live up to her sister Syrene by training ridiculously hard. Said to be “simple-minded”, her personality only really appears when she is angry or embarrassed. Openly friendly, but quickly disgusted with un-knightly behaviour, as Vanessa herself is strict. King Hayden has great faith in her, as do Innes and Tana. Said to have the perfect combination of beauty and skill. Syrene has a lot of respect for Innes. A lot, if you get what I mean. She is Vanessa’s older sister, and often has to tell her to relax. Nonetheless, she is serious about her job, and protecting her country. Name: Moulder Homeland:Frelia Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=489 Starting Class: Priest (Staves) Promoted Class(es): Bishop (Staves + Light, Slayer-skill) OR Sage (Staves + Light + Anima) Bio: A priest employed under Frelia, and said to be one of King Hayden’s most trusted vassals. Extremely serious, but also quite experienced, he is often giving advice to the younger units. I personally don’t like him too much, and thus know little about him. Name: Gilliam Homeland: Frelia Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=487 Starting Class: Knight (Lances) Promoted Class(es): General (Lances + Axes + Swords) OR Great Knight (Lances + Axes + Swords, Horse) Bio: A knight in Frelia’s service, and a serious one at that. He thinks of little other than aiding his country (all these Frelian knights are really dedicated...), and refuses to believe any country is superior to his. Gilliam doesn’t talk too much, and is often training or mediating during his time off. Said to be one of King Hayden’s most trusted vassals. Name: Joshua Homeland:Jehanna Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=117 Starting Class: Myrmidon (Swords, high Critical) Promoted Class(es): Swordmaster (Swords, ridiculously high Critical) Assassin (Swords, Silencer-skill, can use Lockpicks) Bio: Though appearing to be little more than a travelling swordsman, Joshua is in fact the runaway prince of Jehanna. Fed up with his royal life, he left home to try his own luck. He is addicted to gambling, but his street smarts keep him on top of everything. He’s been known to leave even the biggest of decisions up to the flip of a coin. Though believing in luck, he is also a great swordsman in his own right. And while he may dress like a pirate, he is sadly not one. Yet he’s still a gambling, sarcastic, British-slang wielding swordsman. Name: Natasha Homeland: Grado Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=496 Starting Class: Cleric (Staves) Promoted Class(es): Bishop (Staves + Light, Slayer-skill) OR Valkyrie (Staves + Light, Horse) Bio: A cleric from Grado, she fled her home when she discovered something was manipulating the royal family, and became a wanted criminal for it. Very honest, she is as dedicated to Grado as she is to justice and her god. Natasha often questions if she made the right decision in fighting against her homeland. Name: Amelia Homeland:Grado Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=200 Starting Class: Recruit (Lances, TRAINEE UNIT) Promoted Class(es): Knight (Lances) Cavalier (Lances+ Swords, Horse) Recruit (Lances) Promoted Class(es); Second Round: General (Lance + Axes + Swords) Great Knight (Lances + Axes + Swords, Horse) Paladin (Lances + Swords, Horse) Recruit (Lances, high Critical) Bio: A young girl from a small Grado town, she grew up in a fairly poor household. Her mother was killed in a bandit attack when she was young, and Amelia was raised by her brother. Ashamed of being unable to help her mom, she joined Grado’s army when the war began to become stronger and make amends. She is, however, very inexperienced, and known for overly shining her armor. She carries a pure heart and great ambition. NOTE: Amelia, like Ross, is a TRAINNE UNIT. This means she starts with horrible stats but auto-promotes at Level 10 to a normal, un-promoted unit class. Since she has options of which normal class to access, she has a large amount of final promoted units she can become. As for the second and third level Recruit classes, you must first beat both Eirika and Ephraim’s story on a cartridge before they can be accessed. Name: Duessel Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=507 Starting Class: Great Knight (Lances+ Axes + Swords, Horse) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: One of the most famous generals of Grado, he is often referred to as Obsidian. He trained Ephraim in the arts of the lance, and holds strong ties to both Renais and Grado. Though quite strong, his faith in the king is less than that of Selena and Glen’s. Name: Cormag Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=505 Starting Class: Wyvern Rider (Lances, Wyvern) Promoted Class(es): Wyvern Lord (Lances + Swords, Wyvern) Wyvern Knight (Lances, Pierce skill, Wyvern) Bio: A wyvern knight in the service of Grado, and the younger brother of Glen. He can definitely hold a grudge, and isn’t quite as dedicated to his homeland as his brother. He takes great care of his wyvern and has the makings of a future Grado general. Yet he throws it all away for his brother. Name: Knoll Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=508 Starting Class: Shaman (Dark) Promoted Class(es): Druid (Dark + Anima + Staves) Summoner (Dark + Staves, can Summon) Bio: A high-ranking mage in Grado, he was a part of Prince Lyon’s team which was investigating the Fire Emblem. He seems to be the only living member besides the prince, and knowing of the stone’s truth has made him solemn and anti-social. The demons are far from the only thing he has to worry about... Name: L’arachel Homeland: Rausten Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=186 Starting Class: Troubadour (Staves, Horse) Promoted Class(es): Valkyrie (Staves + Light, Horse) Mage Knight (Staves + Anima, Horse) Bio: The outspoken princess of Rausten (who really thinks she’s hiding her identity). L’arachel has the strongest sense of justice you will ever see in this game, claiming to travel the world smiting demons and making her name famous. Unfortunately, without the ability to attack in her base class, she does neither. Her knight Dozla and the mercenary Rennac accompany her in her quest to purify the world. She is very against gambling, seeing it as an act against the gods, and is known for being very arrogant yet sociable. Basically, L’arachel has great faith in others, but even more in herself. Also known to be stingy with money. Name: Dozla Homeland: Renais Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=504 Starting Class: Berserker (Axes, high Critical, can walk on water) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: He looks like a general with that armor, doesn’t he? Yet he is somehow a low-defense Berserker. A jolly knight of Rausten, he is as innocently naive as L’arachel, and would lay down his life for her (a great contrast to Rennac). He loves...well, everything. Except demons and acts against the gods, since the people of Rausten tend to be religious. Name: Rennac Homeland: Carcino Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=506 Starting Class: Rogue (Swords, can Steal, can open doors/chests without Lockpicks) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: Defined as a skilled swordsman, Rennac fails to live up to his reputation with a base STR of 10. Anyhow, Rennac is a mercenary hired by L’arachel to accompany her in purging the evils of the world. He hates his job and L’arachel, trying his best to ditch her when possible. A natural thief, he turned to the job because he grew up in the harsh world that most merchant’s children experience; forced to work for everything from day one. Prideful, stubborn and quite a jerk. Name: Gerik Homeland: Jehanna Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=502 Starting Class: Mercenary (Swords) Promoted Class(es): Hero (Swords + Axes) Ranger (Swords + Bows, Horse) Bio: A famous mercenary leader operating from Jehanna, Gerik, known as the Desert Tiger, was once known for leading over a hundred mercenaries. He now operates with only Tethys and Marisa at his side, having been swamped with work before. A veteran swordsman, he knows a lot about the world, and treats his subordinates with great respect. How a Level 10 Mercenary led so many is beyond me, even if he does have incredible stats. Marisa is a perfect combination of that awesome, mysterious swordfighter and the one drop-dead gorgeous girl that is mandatory in every good game and anime. *ahem* Okay, so anyways, Marisa, better known as the Crimson Flash, is a mercenary on Gerik’s team, and quite feared in her own right. She thinks about two things; killing the enemy, and becoming stronger. Her father was a skilled swordsman himself, and trained her since birth to be the same. Her harsh lifestyle has made her extremely anti-social, and she rarely associates with even her fellow mercenary Tethys. Gerik, however, is one of the few people she respects, and the only person who can break her calm-and-calculating demeanour. And did I mention I love her? Name: Tethys Homeland: Jehanna Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=119 Starting Class: Dancer (uses Dance to give units an extra turn) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: A dancer from Jehanna, and a member of Gerik’s mercenary team for some reason. The two are quite close, and she is known for her “I’ve got bad news, than I’ve got worse news” speeches. Usually in a good mood, she becomes serious when dealing with her little brother Ewan. Being a dancer, she can be quite flirty, but often doesn’t mean anything by it. Tethys aims to become the most famous dancer in Magvell, and is already on her way there. As a unit, she cannot fight, but can give a unit another turn by using the Dance command. Name: Ewan Homeland: Jehanna Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=185 Starting Class: Pupil (Anima, TRAINEE CLASS) Promoted Class(es): Mage (Anima) Shaman (Dark) Pupil (Anima) Promote Class(es); Second Round: Sage (Anima + Light + Staves) Mage Knight (Anima + Staves, Horse) Druid (Dark + Anima + Staves) Summoner (Dark + Staves, can Summon) Pupil (Anima + Light + Dark) Bio: An ambitious and chatty mage from Jehanna, he lives in Caer Pelyn where he is learning magic from the sage Saleh. As Tethys’ younger brother, he has inherited her knack for talking to people, though he acts more like a little kid with his “look what I can do!” and such. Very smart for his age, and always ready to remind others of it. He dreams of becoming as powerful as Saleh one day. NOTE: OMG, another Trainee Unit. If you didn’t read the note under Ross or Amelia, than basically they start out really weak, promote to a normal unit at Level 10 and cannot access the more powerful versions of their basic class until Eirika and Ephraim’s stories have been completed. On a side note, Ewan has the most useful “Super Trainee” class, learning how to use all three forms of magic. Too bad his Con sucks, making Dark Magic difficult. Name: Saleh Homeland: Caer Pelyn Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=199 Starting Class: Sage (Anima + Light + Staves) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: A fairly young yet surprisingly powerful sage, Saleh is one of the protectors of Caer Pelyn. Extremely serious, he knows little more than doing his job and protecting others, including how to thank someone. Still, as Ewan’s teacher, he proves he can be sociable when needed. Name: Myrrh Homeland: Darkling Woods Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=183 Starting Class: Manakete (Dragonstone, can fly) Promoted Class(es): -- Bio: Now, she looks like a normal little girl, right? But, surprise surprise, she is one of the STRONGEST units in the game. Well, that’s not such a surprise since it’s an anime cliché. Still, the daughter of the Great Dragon (and often referred to as the Great Dragon herself), Myrrh is very shy, yet stubborn when she sets her mind. Very attached to Ephraim, she sees him as an older brother and is envious of Eirika. As a unit, she has only ONE Dragonstone, so once it runs out, she is useless in battle. You need finesse to use Myrrh without abusing her. OTHER CHARACTERS Name: Lyon Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=515 Starting Class: Necromancer (Dark, maybe Staves?) Bio: The prince of Grado, Lyon is close friend of Eirika and Ephraim. He is selfless to the greatest extent; he even risked his life to try harnessing the Fire Emblem so that he may help others. Unfortunately, he quickly began to change afterwards, and took charge of the war instead of his father. What he lacked in the physical strength he made up for in pure intelligence, making magic a perfect match. He thinks much more highly of Eirika than she realizes. Name: Selena Homeland: Grado Gender: Female Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=517 Starting Class: Mage Knight (Anima + Staves, Horse) Bio: One of the original three generals of Grado, Selena is completely dedicated to her king. She is known to listen to reason in all aspects except her king, and is willing to die for him. Name: Glen Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=512 Starting Class: Wyvern Lord (Lances + Swords, Wyvern) Bio: One of the Grado’s generals, and Cormag’s older brother. He fights for his king just as Selena does, but is also quite protective of his brother. Name: Valter Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=518 Starting Class: Wyvern Knight (Lances, Pierce skill, Wyvern) Bio: One of the newest generals of Grado, Valter was once removed from the army for his brutality in battle. Rehired due to the need of strong warriors, the Moonstone Valter is just as savage as before, and finds joy in chasing down Eirika to her eventual death. Name: Callecah Homeland:Jehanna Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=510 Starting Class: Hero (Axes + Swords) Bio: Another new general of Grado, Callecah was once a mercenary working alongside Joshua. In the end, he became a general for the increased pay, but was known for being a little more merciless than your average mercenary. Name: Riev Homeland: Grado Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=516 Starting Class: Bishop (Light + Staves) Bio: A new general of Grado, he could hardly be called a bishop. His past is mysterious, but he feels right as home alongside monsters. Relies more on cunning than pure force, he hopes to become the new lord of the world. Name: Orson Homeland: Renais Gender: Male Picture: http://www.feplanet.net/media/gallery/view.php?id=499 Starting Class: Paladin (Lances + Swords, Horse) Bio: A knight of Renais who accompanied Ephraim, he turned traitor and had the prince locked away. Orson was very close with his wife who had died some time ago, and when offered the chance to revive her, he was more than happy to betray his homeland. He’s not in the best state of minds, though he does seem to feel some guilt for his actions. Playable during Chapter 4X. Alright, that's that. I'll see if I get time for the other FE games, but enjoy for now. |

| I think one thing you ought to add is the fact that Kyle has a hobby of making wooden figurines and that he seems to lighten up through SC. As in, there's a few characters who with enough SC will make him much less serious. For instance, his conversations with Lute and Forde. |
| Really? Well, I'll take your word since I personally tend to use Franz or Forde anyways (Kyle never turns out great for me, so I usually don't even bother with his supports). So fixed. |
| I checked his supports again and it's apparent that hobby was made due to the figurine that Syrene gave him after she saved his life once. I also recall that Franz has a fishing hobby as well. |

Same *-* But i spent alot of time in Arena and alot of resets to get Member Card and SIlver Membership, for the discounts on Stat upgardes and Promotion Seals ><, If my actual gold loss to win was right it was liek this 72000 lost/80000 gaiend >< I had to stop when i dropped my GBA and cracked the screen >< All I need to do is Max out Lyons Stats and promote a few more people. and Max a few more peoples stats |
