| I could practically write a long report on this, but I'll just write a little. 1. When you finish a video game, chances are you will be less intelligent, but when you finish Portal, you'll have learned something (To think in Portals, to be exact). 2. AWESOME characters. GLaDOS is simply awesome, she's (Or rather, it's) a super-computer, who tries to murder you, with the promise of cake. And let's not forget Wheatley, Cave, Caroline, Chell, and even the companion cube and turrets. 3. Plot = win. A test subject testing a Portal gun with the help of a computer. It doesn't get much better than that. 4. The humor. GLaDOS is hilarious. 5. The credits. I listen to both songs at least five times a day, THAT'S how good they are. 6. Gameplay is really fun. 7. Art is nice, and really adds to the game. And that just barely explains how this game is made of WIN. |
