| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty nice episode. So Sasha comes to help rescue Sisiphos (sp?) while Tenma and El Cid fight Oneiros. To keep him from destroying Athena and Sisiphos El Cid and Tenma combine their powers and forced Oneiros outside of the dream realm thing. Then El Cid's useless, but hot men and got blown away in less than a minute. Yay Yuzuriha and Yato finally made it back to Tenma's side, but their combined attack still didn't hurt Oneiros. Well can't wait to see what happens in the next episode. |

| they should be ashamed a soft girl like athena came to rescue them.... Its ironic athena the godess of war but she is so soft !! ^^ She came up like floating in the place, i wonder if she is in mekai only on spirit... ElCid apprentices died??? They didnt have a meaningful entrance like for instance Aldebaran apprentices!!! And they died making the exact moves and sounds you would do if ur joking about death on anime :S Looove the reappearance of Yuzuriha and Yatooo!!! Overall i liked a lot the episode |
| I wonder how much help Sisyphos will actually be. They are facing gods. Granted they are lesser gods but still the only way I see tenma making it out of this alive is if he can harness the 8th sense again. |
| El Cid's disciples may not have been the strongest Saints, and what they did what not very inteligent, but they had enough balls to defy an opponent who vastly surpassed them in everything. They may have died, but they have all my respect. Their attack looked really badass. Is also noticeable that their death managed to affect someone as serious as El Cid, showing that, even if he has a cold exterior, he still has loved ones like everyone. At the end, the flashback of the 19th episode was a build up for this scene. Oneiros is such a tricky adversary. The combined efforts of El Cid y Tenma were great, but, against a God like him (+ El Cid's fatigue), it was useless, that without mentioning the epic failure of the combined attack of Tenma, Yato and Yuzuriha. Hell, I didn't remembered him being that tough, I think that, without counting Thanatos and Alone, he is the strongest enemy that the army of Athena has confronted so far (but that should be expected, since he is a God after all). Worth mentioning that Sasha herself has intervened to save the day, instead of letting her soldiers to do all the dirty work. All thanks to the hole El Cid made in the Dream World. Another point for the Capricorn Saint. |
