Judging by the way they're talking about these rituals and that last page, it looks like they'll mostly be extremely dangerous. Which seems a bit odd since marriage rituals generally aren't dangerous at all. In fact, most rituals that I'm aware of require very little minimal preparation. The saying of vows, the possible inclusion of a religious or governmental official and the exchange of some sort of gift (value scaled by social status/wealth of participants) between the participants and/or their families is usually all it amounts to. |
