| Lol, all the french people in anime are called Polnareff. The subs making Pornalef out of it was even better xD. It's a bit repetitive that the same battle of Yawara not wanting and Jigoro wanting her to go to a college that does judo, but the introduction of the four other top contenders of female judo made up for that. The one from Belgium seems like a flashier version of Sayaka and Kim seems kinda boring/too serious, but the Soviet one seems interesting and I already like Jody a lot. Definitely hoping for some kind of showdown next episode, and not Yawara talking her way out of it ^^. |

| There were so many funny moments in this episode, such as the fact that the Belgian dude is named Pornalef, that he kept getting Kazamatsuri's name wrong, but the best of all was that they both kept ending their sentences in "jya" because their both obsessed with gramp's book. Even Sayaka started saying it at one point! I think the four new female judoka that were introduced this episode will eventually overtake Sayaka as Yawara's main rivals. |
