Fucking humans and their greed.
I loved seeing the happy moments between Heart and Ran though; who knew that Heart would be such a loving mother.

Interesting episode. Well, I never really thought that Heart was all that bad completely, it's nice to see her being gentle.

Nice seeing some good reasons for breaking the connection with the human world. The first reason with the misunderstanding was just bad. Glad to see them add something legit. Really good episode.

In response to some of the comments here.
The whole experience of the children is challenging all of Majo Heart's conceptions once again. Really only heightening her confusion. Instead I think the show alluded to something else far more important here in this episode by showing that it is because human beings don't have magic, and it is because that they are sentimental (most aptly shown with the broken vase) that they put a degree of value into things. So naturally people try to formulate ways to resolve issues that they encounter, so they begin to think (this extends into Majo Heart's experience with the war as well). This is what has stumped Majo Heart the most, saying that it is just because of human greed comes into complete contradiction on human beings ability to show empathy.
Just stating that it is because of 'human greed' fails to look at the facts presented and is a completely one-dimensional evaluation of the situation. Human beings develop certain characteristics from a process, that being from their environment. How did they become greedy in the first place? How are human beings compassionate in the first place? These are the real questions that are being asked.
