Woah, that was... intense. I knew that manga (and most probably novels as well) were much stronger than the anime, but I would never except such a scene. :O And the best part of it probably being Luke NOT coming with the rescue, which really took me by surprise there.

Pretty much this. I wasn't really surprised by the rape scene in itself, I was more surprised that nobody came to help and that she was just abandoned in the barn by herself. Aria's basically locked in that sheath, too, so yeah. She's alone.

So it was supposed to be a real rape scene but the users raged and the author changed the scene to just leaving her beat up and naked in that barn?

Holy Smokes! And I was just saying the ecchi element wasn't so annoying in this manga..and now I see THIS!? Poor Cecily...what pisses me off more....is the fact that Luke didn't come to save her [ although,let's be realistic, he probably had no idea something like this could happen to her,and he probably didn't hear anything either..] ...............This scene was....scary....completely different from the rest of the manga.......

Really? The author changed the scene?....Cause.....I find it impossible to believe what Siegfried said after seeing Cecily naked...the fact that he is not interested in raping her,being incapable and blabla......xD So that explains it,author changed the scene lol.

Hey guys! I just want my question to be answered. Is Cecily still a virgin? I am a bit confused as some people say she was raped. I mean there was nothing in the manga that could suggest that. In the manga it was only shown that she was stripped naked and essentially groped by Siegfried. Also, Siegfried said that he is incapable of raping her. I mean I don't know, does this mean Cecily was only groped? I would appreciate it if someone answers my question, to clear my confusion.

In the manga and anime she's still a virgin (before Luke takes it at least), if u remember the part where Sieg and Luke were about to fight he calls him a ''eunuch''. Incase ur wondering Eunuch means a man who has had his sexual organs removed, but sadly in the LN yes she gets raped.

as for the manga no cecily just gets a beat up from the jerk.And in the novel i cant really tell but as far as i know there was once a version where cecily got.....u know.But it got changed beause of fan rage so basically cecily got spared even in the novel.Thats what i heard at least(thx fan rage).

There was no rape, nor a retcon, in any published version of the Seiken no Blacksmith light novel.

This is a persistent unfounded rumor that has been going around since 2011, most likely originating from 4chan's /a/. There was no proof to substantiate this rumor, no one ever found scans, interviews, blogposts, etc. showing where this actually happened.

It's really stupid that people have assumed that this was true for so long. People need to start fact checking stuff like this before it gets out of hand.
