| There is something i do not get at all about this show : Why do Vampires attend school? The high improbability of something like that ever happening haunted every episode and kind of prevented me from enjoying the show. I guess it's something the chairman and Kaname came up to like "let's mix bloodthisrty undead creatures with harmless and naive children and see what happens". But i'm not a bit satisfied with that. I can't enjoy the drama caused by a situation that is not explained at all and yet is so central :/ Can anyone please explain to me? even from the manga, i don't mind the spoil. (Or just tell me that Kaname indeed is just the hypocrit bastard he seems to be xD) |

| at first let me point out that this story is base on fiction and not fact... as to why vampire has to go to school.. well i guess its a common sense that still need to be educated, despite the fact that they are vampire.. and why are they mixing vampire and humans? well, its keeps the story more interesting.. i mean imagine a story line when humans are being separated from vampire, then there will be no point of this story, and what a dull story line it would be.. moreover, yuuki is one of the main character whom herself holds a big secret, and an important factor behind kaname's actions. whether or not kaname is sincere with his pacifist idealism, one thing for sure, he has a hidden agenda of why he does things the way he did... and the manga had explained quite a few of them. |

| Okay thanks I think i get it. Cross is trying to use the academy as a proof for whatever autority that mortals and vampires can coexist, thanks to the use of "blood tablets", education and say "daily interaction". Kaname accepted to be part of this experiment in order to get close to Yuki and other Vampires came because Kaname asked them to. Thus i really wonder if anyone besides Cross and Yuki believe in that pacifist theory at all. I was lost because the show packed up a lot of mysteries and didn't really gave us any bone to bite about it through the episodes and focused on character interactions. why are they mixing vampire and humans? well, its keeps the story more interesting. Y'know you can mix a lot of thing together and you won't have a story yet. Try to explain why they are mixed and you'll be storytelling.. |

| i guess, the anime didnt really give us a chance to get a good feel of each character... the manga on the other build up each character.. and those who follow it will surely have better of understanding as to why is this and why is that.. and what to expect... i personally isnt enjoying the anime as to compare to the manga |

| 1st factor: chairman's pacifism (he obviously wants human and vampire to live in harmony, either he has a schema himself or not, we are not sure just yet. nothing being mention in both anime and manga. although, it seems like there’s a little drop of indication in the manga. if i remember properly, he mentioned something about "i owe it to that woman" or something like that... then, in chapter 39, he also said "right now there is something that i must have to do.".. so, who knows ) also, i've been wondering this for the longest 2nd factor: kaname's pacifism (he obviously has an agenda as to why he is so conniving and manipulative..... note his statement: cross academy he collected all the pieces that maria needs.. and it was kaname who gathered it all...) this obviously not just about having humans and vampire live together.. rather than it is something more. |

| I think the woman the headmaster was thinking about was Yuuki's mother. Cross is over 100 years old and while he was hunting her, they ended up chatting and became friend. So I think that friendship is the motivator behind Cross's decisions. |
