| This was an interesting chapter, but feels out of place compared to the previous chapters. I believe Mingming was trying to develop the characters a bit, but it was executed poorly. This chapter showed that Asuka is a bossy perfectionist, but anyone familiar with Neon Genesis Evangelion already knows that. This chapter also showed that Rei is a weirdo, as opposed to her being an extremely socially withdrawn person. Even though I’m an Asuka fan, I’m fine with Sinji chasing after Rei, but this Rei is not endearing in any respect. |
