Pretty good. A little much to say it had "it all", but I was certainly expecting it to be a good mid-season finish.

I guess us who "jumped the gun" were right when we said

Nice entrance to at least semi-show the

Duels were nothing terribly intense, fast, or amazing, but they serve the point this episode. But a good episode to head into the new year and probably where the episodes should/will probably head.

I like how they are keeping the sizes for the mechas as the game
Gespenst RV (M size) looked really tiny standing by Vysaga (L size)

@ Kirant:
I don't think we'll see any Rathgrith
chances are either Yuu and Carla appearing in the ravens or get an original new mecha

lol here we go again...

I never had an appreciation of just how big some of these mechs are before the Inspectors. Like, I knew the Ganduro was huge, just not that huge. I knew the Thrudgelmir was big, but I didn't know it was that big. And now I see the Vysaga as a giant when I didn't used to think it was.

Yeah, Vysaga is surprisingly mobile in the game, so the appreciation of its size is hard to take in until now...especially when in-game, everything is the same size.

Logic. Your doing it wrong.

And here I thought this place was mature enough for water under the bridge to be water under the bridge. If you really want to pursue this, PM me or something, but I'm done wasting space for others to perfectly discuss what obviously isn't discussion of this episode, something apparently you wish not to have, as you have stated in the last topic.

@kirant: Next episode looks to be an Octo Squad episode, so you might be getting your wish for more of them soon. Although, I'd rather them get to the SRX or Choukujin than random Octo Squad stuff.

Don't be so self-righteous and expect that what you think should go into an episode discussion SHOULD BE what goes into an episode discussions. People have the right to complain about things that don't make sense and are nit picky/impossible to fix as long as it's within terms of usage for the forum. MAL is a large community and not everybody is going to think that an episode topic should contain the same things you do.

If you want me to take this to PM, then your admitting your points were wrong.

something apparently you wish not to have, as you have stated in the last topic.

Good, so we agree, my points were right. Yours were wrong ... ... ... =/

Now, I can't do that, because they aren't wrong. I'm promising you that I'll try to be an active participant of a debate should you seek one out. I'm just saying that it's for the community that we keep it out of their eye, as, much like the last topic, a debate tends to distract from the discussion of the episode and draw attention to whatever philosophical disagreement lies at the heart of the debate. I can perfectly outline your errors where you've jumped to conclusions and put words inside my mouth, in specific where you say "your words". If they're my words, you can quote them.

But, I digress, this isn't the point of this topic. It's to discuss the episode 13 of the anime Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector. Again, if you're up for a debate, go for it. PM me. I'll be as active as I can and if you're not getting a reply, feel free to yell out to the world or something. But I have no interest in throwing arguments down in a place where they so severely distract from a healthy conversation.

You sir, are sorrily mistaken. I'm saying that you seemingly prefer to have pure discussions on the episode itself instead of a person's belief, and won't accept anything as minimal a deviation as saying what I theoretically would put in a show. Your post had nothing to do with this episode, and everything to do with me, with the only relevance to the episode being an example.

I cant help but notice how Grungust Type-3 coloring changes so much at night. It's red and should just stay that color, only a bit darker like the rest of the units. Yet I saw it completely BLUE and only turned red when light on it for a moment. At first I even thought "WTF Zengar's piloting Type-1" until I noticed the drills later on.
did they screw up the coloring that bad?

In the games it was red, but for this they just made Zengar's Grungust blue. Bullet is still red from earlier shows, but I don't think they ever showed the color of the Type-3 they gave Zengar, until now. Its not a question of "screwing up the coloring" or having the color magically change from one scene (or episode) to the next.

ZENGAR

I'm really tired of all this fake dieing and retreating. The animators at least don't have to send all the fighters if they're just going to retreat anyway. That just really annoys me.

I did like the info given out at the end. For some reason I was still surprised to hear that Gilliam once worked with 'Shadow Mirror' even though I already read it about 5 times. And Lamia's new mecha looks awesome.

Which is what I (and others) said last topic. You explicitly disagreed with me (and them) then. So now, your going against your own points....

Please point this out. Because what I've was no intent to taking the discussion to PMs or another acceptable venue, but an attempt from you and slax to directly engage the debate and counter the points of the argument (as oppose to the venue of the debate).

sylvanelite said:

You saw fit to disagree with my then. But now your harping the same tune. In other words, your disagreeing with your own points you made last discussion.

If you trace the origins of this point back, this leads to the argument of where you make claims such as my suggestion that duels should/must be done off-screen, leading to my claim that you put words into my mouth by extending the point into a place where I never specified where time should be cut from, only stating that others shows HAVE done off-screen duels properly (and not a must). Therefore, the extent of your new direction is in a scope that my post was not in reference.

sylvanelite said:
Indeed, this is true. But for this to have any relevancy now, you'd be admitting that you've contradicted your previous comments. Simply because I (and others) said this last discussion. You seem to think that right now I'm arguing against you. I'm not. You can look at what I wrote. I quoted you. Your arguing against your own points here. You saw fit to make these points last discussion, and now label them as irrelevant. Not my problem. If you thought they were irrelevant, you shouldn't have posted them in the last topic.

I suggest you read my post once again. The comment is directed at your activity and seeming existent beliefs, not yours. I have stated that you seem to dislike any deviation from the direct conversation, but have no hesitations making a post that directly go after me and really doesn't reference the episode outside of examples. In plainer words, I am pointing out an oddity in your posting where you go from suggesting to keep the episode discussions clean to actively initiating attacks on other posts which have little relevance to the topic and serve to attack a user instead (by saying that my logic is inconsistent) (However, do note that when I say that your point is not dismissing your argument as irrelevant, I'm not saying that you're right).

Anyways, I'll take the moral highroad and lead by example by not replying to this topic, or any other, for such a purpose. Any attempts to make direct claims to my logic, personality, or whatever, will be ignored on the assumption that you do not fully understand what my point is and have no intent of figuring it out. Again, I openly accept debating, but won't take it if it exists in such an inappropriate venue such as a topic like this, seeing the fragility of the actual discussion of the episode and its collapse (and probably this one) from a debate such as this overwhelming the topic. As I've said before, I'll promise an active PM debate and have made attempts to limit the negatives of the venue, but have no intent of diluting this already diverted topic by polluting it with more posts by myself and hopefully yourself. If you wish for these topics to hold what you desire to be unmitigated discussion about the episode, you should see value in this and, should you care enough to seek it, contact me.

look closely, just when they send ALL fighters?? where's R1? where's the 2 grungusts? where's fairlions? where's wurger? where's exbein? where's AM gunner? where's siegerlion,? where's gigansucudo? AND where's ibis??

if you refer to enemy unit, where's W16? where's DC or the school gang? also lemon and vindel didnt sortie.

about retreat and fake dying, it was refer to the game storyline. and previous episode didnt show that lamia is really dead.

I should stop reading these comments.
The childish bullshit is hurting the enjoyment of a good show.

My message isn't helping much but eh. Whats another degree of rude when it's already passed the Rush Limbaugh limit.
