| Because there might have been something that can tell it apart. And what are they going to do if a terrorist organization claims to have it. The flag was an important symbol for all the people, if they were caught having faked the flag I don't know what would have happened to the war. |

| LOL when Rome lost their Eagles during Battle of Carrhae they should have just made new ones I'm sure no one would notice. Flags, Eagles, and Standards can be ridiculously important for the identity/glory of a country/army as they represent much more than the cloth they were cut from. |
