I knew March's story was gonna be crazy, but not like that. The "Hook Witch" or whatever you wanna call her, was insane. It's funny, it's like at first the editor told them to tone it down a little, b/c the first chapter seemed like it was gonna be worse, but turned out to be a pretty happy ending. With her father living and all. And, it's gradually gotten worse from there. Especially this chapter, very gory, lots of grotesque nudity, and some serious psychological horror. Awesome....lol! Jake is even better in my eyes now. I liked her from the past chapter, and figured she had some past with March. But not like that, so epic. Especially the fact that she's the glass makers lover from the previous story, I love how they tied all that in together. This whole volume was essentially the "set-up" for the character March. I love it when they do that. It reminds me of the "Ender's Game" novel series. When a character is that BA, with an origin that epic, it's only right they get a whole book to set them! Loving this series, one of my favorites already. Now on to Volume 2, from what the creators said in the Omake of Volume 1... Urahara Out!! |
