Shadow looked at the stone that stood in front of his brother's grave. He walked gloomily back through the trees and summoned his dino. He jumped heavily onto its back and together they ran of through the trees.
Shadow was running full speed through the trees he saw a young warrior getting killed by a banshee and decided he should help. He came over and thundered the witch. As he turned he saw the young warrior had run away. Shadow jumped back on his dino and decided he better hurry if he was to get to dark marsh in two days.
That night shadow camped in Gobi desert he ate the food bought in the market later that day. As he set up his tent he saw a far of figure coming forward at a tremendous speed. As the figure got closer he saw that it was a young, skinny boy on a young snow raptor. Shadow stood up to see what the boy was doing and what he wanted. The boy stopped about 100 yards away from the fire that shadow had made and dismissed his young eudemon.
When shadow saw the boy he immediately felt sorry for him because of how skinny he was. He called out for him to join his feast. The boy was hesitant at first but soon came closer. The boy sat down and began to eat. He stuffed his mouth until bits of food stuck out of it. Shadow watched the strange boy as if he was a mad man. Shadow eventually set up his tent and watched the boy sucked on a turkey bone. He finally got tired of mocking the boy and laid down to watch the stars "that army will pay for da_reepers death if I have to die as well' was the last words shadow said as he fell asleep under the moon.
Shadow awoke early that morning so he could pack up his stuff quickly. As he washed his face in a bowl of water he put out he saw the small figure of the boy fast asleep next to the food that he set out the night before. He put the boy on his mattress and washed the dishes left over. When he finished he thought he should wake up the boy and ask him a few questions. He went over to the young boy and gently shook him. The boy awoke, and stood up. Then he saw shadow and he looked alarmed, then he fell over. Shadow sat down beside him and said "hey, I'm shadow I made all that food u ate last night". The boy had a blank look on his face and then remembered what had happened that day. He stood back up and said " ahh�� yes�� sorry about all that I was just really hungry and��"
Shadow just simply said "I'm going to dark marsh, u can come, I will protect u,i just wont wait". The boy helped shadow pack up his stuff and soon they were on their mounts backs riding through the burning wasteland. Shadow suddenly remember something and asked his name. The boy was named marine because his father was a marine in the war with TDT.
They got to the teleported and jumped of their mounts. Shadow leads his dino through the teleported and soon followed it.
