The video for the first single of A THOUSAND SUNS, THE CATALYST has been released.

Watch it here: The Catalyst

Joe, who directed the video, thought this of it:
When coming up with the idea for our new music video, "The Catalyst," I thought of the end of the world. What would it be like if someone could push a button to decide our fate? What would it feel like if we accept our fate in the moment of devastation? How would we celebrate our one final living moment?

What do you think of it?

I personally really like the song and the video fits perfectly. Joe pulled of what he wanted to show. There's only one bad cut in the beginning imo, but otherwise I love it.

Can't wait for the new album.

I love how they go in their own direction most of the time and chose not to be like other bands.

When they started it was the rap-rock style which I still love today. With Minutes to Midnight they went with more of a rock sound, but still kept some of the Linkin Park-ish feel. Now they sound like a cross between rock and techno/electronica with a tiny bit of rap, which I'm digging :]

The video for The Catalyst is awesome, one of their best in my opinion

I'm anxious to see what direction LP is gonna take A Thousand Suns

It was really good... but it did not satisfy me, they still have a long way to go if they want to catch up with the awesomeness they had at first.

I finallly had time to watch the Video and Joe really did show what he said about the end
of the world and it was right on the mark and i was also hoping it would come out like it did and i think
it's awesome, in short It was a Great Video. Everyone in LP did an excellent Job.

Just case it has to be said,
Mike pulling off an Assassin's Creed/Sith Lord look is sexy as hell.

Anywho! As for the video itself, I think it's extremely well done. I've been liking the artistic direction of their music videos ever since New Divide, I hope they keep it up!

But lawlz @ all the hater comments on their video, man some people just don't like change at all.

I believe they were touring also. A Thousand Suns has been in development for 2 years, says my booklet.
