| Not bad although not a smash hit. Kinda reminds me of Total Eclipse for some reason without the violence and gore. |

| What a big fucking waste that the details of the sci-fi aspect of the show are used in a show full of kids. It should have just stayed a slice of sci-fi. Mod Edit: Modified post for vulgarity. |

| Catchy OP and ED, and the scoring when the space ship took off and also when it arrived at the space station, as well as Arisa's spontaneous weeping when the shutters opened, were effective at creating a sense of wonder. There were some really weird direction decisions, though. The scoring during the fight between Shim and her mother was trying to sell the scene as sad and while that should make sense for this display of bitterness between mother and daughter, both characters acted so childishly it was funny instead. Showing Shima receiving the comfits in flashback was also very strange since it already showed her brother approaching her. Why show the moment before, then go past it, then flash back to it? |
can make it through some episodes but lil more energetic mc would have been nice  |
