| It'sad but Izaya might be the only one that keeps thing moving in Ikebukuro.....his god complex made me think his not a human at first but his sort of rivalry with Shizuo makes me think he's just another bored human... |
| This episode really solved a couple of frustrations for me and made me realize a few things. For instance, I decided Kadota is my favorite character from this anime and, maybe, my favorite character this year. ๐ The three main characters didn't prove too bad either. If anything, I liked that they remained true to themselves and fought their weaknesses. I must confess I was particularly impressed with Kida's bravery. I was not sure he would be capable of that. Despite her looks, to me, Celty is a guardian angel, and I like the type of interactions she has with Shizuo. As for Shizuo, I wasn't expecting it, but after I believed he was killed, I sank into deep sadness. It was then that I realized how much he had grown on me, haha. There are probably two things I like about him: he's cool and I'm a foolish woman who likes cool guys (๐), and he's a good guy. He's truly endearing! I'm a bit intimidated by his impulsiveness and violence, but that's okay, haha. Lastly, I cannot help liking Izaya, although I would have preferred to hate him, hahaha. Again, I may be foolish and like him because he's cool. ๐คฃ Aside from that, I've always had a soft spot for evil characters, though I'm not really sure yet how Izaya stands. I'm tempted to believe he may be one of those characters you don't really know what side they are. He may surprise me in a happy way in the future, but I'm still observing him before making a decision. There are a few more series after all. ๐ I like Simon too, although he doesn't really stand out. At the very least, I was touched by how much he cared about Kida, and I loved him for fatherly/friendly punishing Izaya. I certainly didn't expect that coming, but it was truly refreshing. ๐ |
