Do we think that this anime will be profitable enough to last for the entire webnovel? The initial premise is definitely good but will it be popular enough to get more seasons? Because imaging later arcs animated would be amazing
but its also a 550 chapter novel so it'd definitely be a big investment to adapt it all.

depends on what studio gets it and also depends on how well they adapt it.

With how well solo leveling has been doing, orv could be the next cash cow as long as they can give proper adaptation

It depends on the reception. The anime will naturally be well received if it has good direction, fight choreography, storyboarding and animation. The source material already presents a really good story so they Don't have to worry about being extra to create engagement for viewers.

Completely depends on which studio and staff gets it. Then the reception and money ofcourse. If everything goes, well it could become a very big success and adapt the entire novel.

With Crunchyroll as a producer, i'm don't think you should expect more than a single 12 episodes season.

That's true but a second season would be possible in the future, tower of God has been through the same

Tower of God is much more popular, and Bandai Namco are the ones who pushed for a 2nd Season. We'll see how it goes tho, maybe it'll be the case there too.

totally depends on the studios, popularity. some animes are dropped solely because companies companies bankrupt etc.

If it's well recieved, they'll Probably Do the entire thing.
I don't think they'll hand over such a profitable project so easily, unless the studio had a background of abandoning stuff.

And Ofcourse, they'll adapt the Manhwa, not the Novel if anybody's assuming.

@Alexioos95 12 episodes won't be effective. But if they drop it quickly like that happened with Solo Leveling, then it might work.

Didn't Solo Leveling get 25 episodes?

Yeah, and planned from the start, too. But aside of Solo Leveling (planned from start) and Tower of God (with Bandai Namco a few years later), all others are 12 or 13 episodes (Noblesse, God of Highschool, Viral Hit, ...).

There is more chances for 12 Episodes than 25, especially considering the lesser popularity of Omniscient Reader in comparison. Maybe Aniplex have another plan tho, or Crunchyroll learned from Solo Leveling ? We'll see, i guess.

I know it's not a manhwa adaptation but Shangri La Frontier got multiple 25 episodes seasons...

I hope for multiple seasons of 24-26 episodes! It is worth to make many seasons as the novel is amazing!!

With Crunchyroll, you shouldn't expect much
12 episodes at best

but if ORV got A-1 we might get 24 (double season) like Solo Leveling
