| I'd SWEAR I've seen this before: an otherworldly being who you either wouldn't think COULD have children or wouldn't consider that they would, has a mortal child, presumably with a human, and while the child is almost inconsequential to the plot, we only learn of their relationship right before they die as an almost throwaway detail. "Wait, THAT character had a kid? That character is their child? Oh I guess they died." I KNOW I've seen this exact setup before, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. The closest I can think of would be a non-anime example (Erfworld, RIP.) But I believe I'm thinking of an anime. |
