Was this a creative decision? yes, sometimes they do a long episode run specially for Season premieres or finales. Sometimes, it is a creative decision like in Oshi no ko, if they ended the episode after 20 mins, it would have not been able to set up the base for the entire series' plot line. So, stretching it long and ending it at a point that helps create a base and tells people that it is not some happy go lucky story. |

| First and last episodes of each Demon Slayer season happen to be an hour long for the sake of prologue and proper pacing and stuff. |

| Can we not waste our time with posts that don’t need to be made. So it is a longer episode, enjoy it, don’t complain about it. I find MAL forums posts are getting worse and worse every day π π |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

This person is basically asking everyone else to think for them in this case, because they were too lazy to think for themselves. That is what I’m against. “Why is it longer …” because they decided to make it longer, we can’t read minds. |

| @Oongbuh Hm… not sure if you are supporting or criticizing me and my comments, but I’ll just say this … I like commenting and responding in MAL forums. I have leaned a lot over the years from MAL uses, which improved my understanding of anime, along with learning other things that were not related to anime. It has for the most part been a lot of fun. I don’t think of that as a waste of time. |
