@JaysonNnN considering there are a total of 14 light novel volumes, with each volume needing AT LEAST 3-4 episodes, I hope they don't rush things and actually do 2 seasons, with each season having 2 cours. As a LN reader, I think they will likely adapt book 1 in the 1 hour first episode, and finish the first cour with book 4 (Bakumatsu), with the second cour consisting the 3 books set in the Meiji era.

@TGAvi book 1 was fine, nothing extraordinary. However, book 2 had a massive jump in writing quality, with great foreshadowing and plot twists. It makes the characters grow to your heart. Book 3 is even better and the stakes rise high by the end of it. I haven't read book 4 as of now, but I peeked into it and it definitely looks promising

Probably gonna skip because of Yokohama. PV looks alright but most likely it’s early stage content and the animation will degrade overtime knowing Yokohama.

They always get the cool shows with interesting premises, and then butcher them with animation

@Yuri_Niji i'm gonna give this one a chance, i usually always skip yokohama animes, but the artstyle they use for the animes always catches my eyes for some reason. i think this might be a turning point for them, since this is the first pv i've seen from them that actually looks good
