Okay. So we know that Akari most-likely is not the mom given that the timeline for the latest flashback is three years ago (I think?). We also now get an idea of what the scandal was that made Isshiki leave production work the first time.

I do wish we could have a seinen story like this where the male protagonist did not have self-esteem issues. It’s just too cliched to see a guy in a manga who someone is attracted to say, “I guess nobody will love me🙃.” It just creates unnecessary drama in an already drama-fueled series and it is not necessary to the plot in any way.
